Pok�mon Centre Paris

It has been announced that a special version of the Pok�mon Center stores is to open up in Paris for a short time in June. From June 4th to June 21st, the store will open up in CR�MERIE de PARIS (H�tel de Villeroy), 11-15, rue des Halles � angle 9, rue des D�chargeurs in Paris, France. This is to tie in with the fact that the Kalos region is based on France. The store will sell various Pok�mon merchandise from clothing to toys. It also has various rare illustrations for display, Pikachu mascot to take a photo with and an area to teach you how to draw Pikachu

Pok�mon Art Academy

A new game has been announced for Nintendo 3DS. This game is called Pok�mon Art Academy and is coming to Nintendo 3DS in both retail and download on June 19th 2014 in Japan for 3,619¥, that's 1,200¥ less than standard retail titles, with no western release revealed at this time. This game is a spin-off of Pok�mon and the Art Academy series and teaches you how to draw the various Pok�mon and has multiple characters within teaching you. There are 40 lessons within starting from easy tutorials like Oshawott and going all the way up to intricate designs like Mega Charizard. Tutorials like Voltorb deal with lighting while Jirachi teaches 3D style. There are two characters who will be learning with you. You can then share your artwork on Miiverse as well as saved on the SD card to be shared. You can also take photos with the 3DS camera and use them as reference. You can also store your artwork on cards, which match aesthetics of the Pok�mon TCG.

Pok�mon X & Y - Special Battle

The Special Battle Season 4 rules have been announced. This season begins from May 13th 2014 and runs until July 15th. The Special Battle rules are different from the last two, no longer following standard VGC rules. This season of Special Battle is now a Single Battle with Inverse Battle type chart for the first time in any multiplayer mode. You can use any Pok�mon from the National Pok�dex except for Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde. Like other Battle Spot Single Battles, you have to choose 3 of your 6 Pok�mon. We'll bring more as and when it comes

It has been confirmed by the German arm of The Pok�mon Company International that a Shiny Mamoswine is to be distributed to participants and spectators of the European VGC Nationals this month. This Mamoswine is based upon the Mamoswine of Arash Ommati and is Level 50 and distributed with Icicle Spear, Earthquake, Icicle Crash & Rock Slide. This event will be distributed at the following places:
2014 Pok�mon German National Championships: May 3�4, 2014, in Bochum, Germany
2014 Pok�mon UK National Championships: May 24�25, 2014, in Manchester, England
2014 Pok�mon Italian National Championships: May 31�June 1, 2014, in Assago, Italy

A new Battle Competition has been announced. This battle competition is the 2014 International Challenge May and runs for all regions at the same time. This competition runs standard VGC rules: A Double Battle competition, with only Pok�mon in the Kalos Pok�dex eligible, and only if they were hatched/caught in Kalos. It also restricts use of Mewtwo, Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde. Registration runs from May 9th to May 16th while the competition itself runs from May 16th to May 19th. All people who participate will receive 1,000 Pok�Mile Points

For those of you who registered, the 2014 April Friendly Battle Competition is now live for battles. This Battle Competition is a Single Battle competition, with only Pok�mon in the Kalos Pok�dex eligible with no restrictions so Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde & Mewtwo are eligible, and only if they were hatched/caught in Kalos. The other rules are standard: Level 50, 3 of 6 Pok�mon in your team eligible, no two Pok�mon of the same species, no two of the same item and it keeps the 20 battles a day restriction of the Beta Competition. The competition runs from April 25th 2014 to April 28th 2014 so be sure to battle if you registered.

Pok�mon XY - Episode Postponement

It has been announced by TV Tokyo that the originally planned episode due to air this week in Japan, The Castle on the Seabed! Skrelp & Dragalge!!, has been postponed. This episode featured Ash & co. investigating a sunken ship and city with Skrelp and Dragalge. The reasoning for the delay has yet to be confirmed but presumably relates to the sinking of a ferry off the coast of South Korea last week. In its stead, the next episode, The Cyllage Gym Match! Pikachu VS Tyrunt!! is to air. It's unknown when the episode will eventually air or what episodes have had changed airdates.

If it senses strong sunlight, it opens its folded petals to absorb the sun's rays with its whole body. It is docile as a bud, but turns cheerful when it blooms. It folds back into a bud if sunlight wanes. It blooms during times of strong sunlight. It tries to make up for everything it endured as a bud. So here it is, the twenty-fifth entry, Cherrim.

It has been revealed that a special tournament is to take place in the Pok�mon Centers. To tie in with these tournaments, and in the time around it, various Pok�mon with their Mega Stones are to be distributed to players with sets aimed to help you get into battle immediately. They are all Level 50
From May 10th to May 18th, a Gyarados with Waterfall, Earthquake, Ice Fang, Dragon Dance and holding Gyaradosite is to be given
From May 19th to May 25th, a Scizor with Bullet Punch, Swords Dance, Roost, U-Turn and holding Scizorite is to be distributed
From May 26th to June 1st, a Kangaskhan with Fake Out, Return, Earthquake, Sucker Punch and holding Kangaskhanite is to be distributed
From June 2nd to June 8th, a Gengar with Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Will-o-Wisp, Destiny Bond and holding Gengarite is to be distributed
From June 9th to June 15th, a Tyranitar with Stone Edge, Crunch, Earthquake, Ice Punch and holding Tyranitarite is to be distributed
Finally, from June 16th to June 22nd, a Mawile with Iron Head, Play Rough, Fire Fang, Sucker Punch and holding Mawilite is to be distributed.

A new Global Link attraction has been announced and launched. This attraction is called Graffiti Eraser and allows for you to get many training items including Power items and Rare Candy. To play, you need to wipe a window with your mouse or touchscreen to uncover 3 Pok�mon. You then get ranked randomly and receive a random item.

It has been announced that, for players who participate in the upcoming Japan Cup Battle Competition will receive a special present for entering. This present is the Ability Capsule, an item that allows you to change your Pok�mon's ability and is one of the most sought after items in the game, costing 200BP in the Battle Maison. To receive it, you need to have participated in at least one battle in the Japan Cup.

Pok�mon XY - Planetarium Special

A new special has been announced for airing at the Konica Minolta Planetarium in Japan from July 19th to September 7th, 2014. This special is called Pok�mon XY: Fragment of the Sky. Details about this special aren't completely known but it features Ash visiting an agency known as PAXA as trouble happens. The special is 10 minutes long and follows in the footsteps of another special, Celestial Globe of Light and Shadow which was shown in 2011. No external release of this special is planned. .

For those of you in Europe, the Electabuzz & Magmar event has begun . This event gives you a special one-time use Serial Code that gives access to Magmar in Pok�mon X and Electabuzz in Pok�mon Y. These Pok�mon are at Level 30 and have their evolution item attached. The code has to be used by September 30th 2014 but the timeframe to get the code varies.
FNAC stores in Portugal will run the event from April 14th to June 1st. In the Netherlands, it'll be given at Game Mania from April 14th to April 30th. It is in Spain from April 14 to June 1 in Blade Center, Cadena Fnac, Canal Ocio, Carrefour, El Corte Ingl�s, GAME, GameStop, GAMESTORE, HIPERCOR, Media Markt, TOYS R US, Worten, Alcampo, Eroski stores, France from April 14, FNAC in Belgium from April 14 to April 30. The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming movie, Diancie & the Cocoon of Destruction. This reveals the details of the Diancie event. It will be distributed in theates in Japan from July 19th to September 30th. Diancie is Level 50 and has the moves Diamond Storm, Reflect, Moonblast and Return. It's holding a Normal Gem. We'll bring more details as it comes. Within today's Super Smash Bros. Direct, it was announced that a new item called Master Ball will be in Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros for Wii U. This item only gives you access to Legendary Pok�mon, in addition to the standard Pok�mon. Pok�mon such as Keldeo, Meloetta, Fennekin, Meowth, Electrode, Kyurem, Xerneas, Arceus, Entei, Victini & Gogoat were confirmed.
It was also confirmed that Lucario's Mega Evolution is in the game
23:34: It is also confirmed that Chandelure will appear within the new Smash Run feature on the 3DS version. This is a special Adventure Mode that can be played co-op. Chandelure is an enemy within this
23:40: Charizard has been confirmed to return to Super Smash Bros while Greninja is a newcomer. Mega Charizard X also features as the Mega Evolution

For those of you in North America and Europe, the next wave of soundtracks has been released by The Pok�mon Company. This particular soundtrack is the Pok�mon Black & White soundtrack and contains 173 tracks from the games for $9.99/�7.99/�8.99 on the iTunes platform. The Pok�mon Company has promised that the soundtracks for Black 2 & White 2 are to be released within 2014.

This movie is to be called Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, known in Japan as Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie, and is currently up for licensing by The Pok�mon Company. Due to this, the release date of the movie is not currently known. We'll bring more details as they come.

Today, we are covering a Pok�mon introduced in the second generation. The tail's tip shines brightly and can be seen from far away. It acts as a beacon for lost people. The tip of its tail shines so brightly it can be used to send sea-navigation beacons to distant foreign shores. In the olden days, people sent signals using the tail's light. It gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space. In addition to this, we also include a section on its Mega Evolution. So here it is, the twenty-third entry, Ampharos.

It has been revealed that several new 3DS models are to be released. These models all have a decal of Ash, Xerneas & Yveltal from the movie on the front, with Pikachu & Diancie on the back. Each unit is being given at a specific home game for one of three teams: F.C Tokyo, Yokohama F Marinos and the Urawa RED Diamond teams, with the amount of units being given away via a raffle based upon the score of the team in that match. This is a part of the tie in for Pok�mon & the 2014 World Cup and the release of the movie, Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie. We'll bring more as it comes and click the below image for a larger view

The official site has today confirmed a wide variety of international events for the Video Game & TCG Championships across the world. These events mostly had been confirmed through unofficial chanels but now have been officially stated. In addition to TCG ones all across Europe, the three Video Game ones are as follows
2014 Pok�mon German National Championships: May 3�4, 2014, in Bochum, Germany
2014 Pok�mon UK National Championships: May 24�25, 2014, in Manchester, England
2014 Pok�mon Italian National Championships: May 31�June 1, 2014, in Assago, Italy
In addition to that, there are also Nationals for both to be held inSouth Africa, Australia, New Zealand and various places in South America, which have yet to be officially dated. North America's, already announced are:
