The Beginning Set was a set released in two forms. First was the Beginning Set for Boys and the second was the Beginning Set for Girls. The teo sets had slightly different cards, with Basurao & Dokkora being exclusive to the set for boys and Tabunne & Mamanbou being exclusive to the set for girls. The holographic cards were also different between version with the boy's set having the holographic final evolved starters and the girl's set having holographic un-evolved starters.
