The POP Series 8 set continued Nintendo's release of small subsets for the Pokémon Organised Play leagues. This set was released shortly after the Diamond & Pearl: Legends Awakened set.. Like all POP sets it has 17 cards. Unlike the previous set, this set was not a complete reprint set and had a variety of cards which were previously released as Promos in Japan and is the first Diamond & Pearl POP set to include trainer cards.
