Red captured this Pikachu at Pewter City and it has been its close partner since then. When Red disappeared after taking on a challenge from Bruno of the Elite 4, it was temporarily under Yellow’s ownership and returned to Red after the Cerise Island incident. Later, it once again followed Yellow in search of Lugia in Johto. It was the only member on Red’s team that did not get petrified along with Red.
