The Battle Frontier is a Platinum-exclusive area. This version of the Battle Frontier features multiple different facilities on the edge. In addition to this, there are various market stalls and shops that allow the exchange of Battle Points for items.

Battle Tower
The returning Battle facility is the Battle Tower which has you face trainers in standard battles of both Single, Double, Multi and WiFi varieties. If you succeed in a streak of 21 or 49 trainers, you will face the leader; Palmer

Battle Factory
The other returning Battle facility is the Battle Factory which has you use rental Pokémon against a variety of trainers also using the rental Pokémon. If you succeed in a streak of 21 or 49 trainers, you will face the leader; Thornton

Battle Hall
One of the new Battle facilities is the Battle Hall. This facility has you use one (or two if Double Battle) Pokémon and face up against Pokémon of each type. As you progress, the Pokémon get stronger and get sets to take you out easier. If you succeed in a streak of 50 or 169 trainers, you will face the leader; Argenta

Battle Arcade
Another new Battle facility is the Battle Arcade. This facility has you run a roulette to determine various factors of the battle including status ailements, stat boosts and so forth. If you succeed in a streak of 21 or 49 trainers, you will face the leader; Dahlia

Battle Castle
The final facility is the Battle Castle. This facility has you battle through, earning special Castle Points which you can spend on items, healing or even lowering the opponent's level. If you succeed in a streak of 21 or 49 trainers, you will face the leader; Darach
