Gym Leader Castle

Gym Leader Castle was first introduced in Pokémon Stadium and has made a fantastic return here. This mode has you go into a set of battles which represent each of the eight gyms from Pokémon Gold, Silver & Crystal. On the final battle, you will face up against the leader and, once defeated, can proceed to the next gym.

Unlike the Gym Leader Castle in the first game, the amount of trainers you face off against in each Gym varies. As such, Olivine Gym only has the Leader while Blackthorn City has two other trainers. In addition to that, it also introduces the Kanto Gyms, an interlude between two of the gyms in the Johto region and a final better against the mysterious trainer, Red.
