Pokémon Prime are the spiritual replacements of the Pokémon-ex and Pokémon Lv. X cards within the LEGEND sets. These Pokémon act just as any normal Pokémon would and have the ability to evolve from their lower forms with ease.

The cards themselves add very little different but instead are focused more on damaging attacks. They are fairly rare so you'll be lucky to get them. As they don't have an addition to their name, Pokémon Prime cards count among the 4 Pokémon of that species which you can have in your deck i.e. you can only have a total of four Typhlosion, regardless of if one is a Pokémon Prime.
