This game utilises the Nintendo WiFi Connection in order for you to be able to help friends whom are stuck in dungeons. An easier way than using passwords.

There are a variety of long dungeons within the game and as such, all 491 Pokémon revealed at release are obtainable within the game one way or another. However, you cannot get all of them without linking up with a friend who has the other game

There's a variety of new aspects to the game aswell, for one, you can get Eggs as rewards for the missions. These Eggs hatch into a base form of the Pokémon from that dungeon and contain random egg moves as well. You can link moves as with the first game and find treasure chests with a variety of rare and powerful items

All gameplay elements from the past game have returned including the randomisation of the dungeons so you aren't just repeating yourself and the recruiting of new Pokémon to your Exploration Team so you shall be able to quickly get into the game if you have played the previous ones
