Who's That Pokémon

Today marks the one-hundred & forty-fourth entry into the Generation VI competitive field with a Johto Pokémon. These entries are created by the visitors for the visitors and then compiled by our writers Miror, Archangel, Ragnarok, Psynergy, EKZ1505 & KillerDraco. To get involved, Click here for the discussion forum
Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced in the second generation.  Blown by seasonal winds, it circles the globe, scattering cotton spores as it goes. Even in the fiercest wind, it can control its fluff to make its way to any place in the world it wants. Jumpluff rides warm southern winds to cross the sea and fly to foreign lands. The Pokémon descends to the ground when it encounters cold air while it is floating. So, here it is, the one-hundred & forty-fourth entry, Jumpluff.

Pokémon GO

Over the last day, Pokémon GO has undergone a few Server Side updates which have altered a variety of factors. Firstly, there are multiple reports that some PokéStops and gyms have been removed. Next, various Pokémon spawns, places where many Pokémon were more prevelant, have been altered so, for example, if you found an Onix common in one area, you'd now find Doduo. However, most notably, the move damage inflicted has been altered. Many moves have been boosted and some have been nerfed somewhat. As such, I have updated our Move Listings with preliminary data, with some assistance from TheSilphRoad. This data is still being added so if you see a mistake or omission let me know. As with our Pokkén Tournament and Pokémon Comaster section, the table is now tabbed to switch between historical data of the games. If the damage tab is lighter than the rest, then the move has been buffed. If it is darker, then it has been nerfed

Pokémon Sun & Moon - QR Code Note

As the QR Codes are now being distributed for the distribution of Magearna in Sun & Moon in Japan (through the new movie, Volcanion & The Ingenious Magearna), we now have a bit more insight into how the QR Codes work following from the confirmation that it is region locked. All players in Japan are receiving the same QR Code for their Magearna which means that everyone with a Japanese Sun & Moon game will be able to scan the code and redeem Magearna, acting akin to the shared Serial Codes that are released rather than the unique ones. It's currently unclear if all QR Code events will be like this across the globe but we'll provide clarification for each code for each event when they are released.

The first images from CoroCoro have leaked and have revealed the latest news on Sun & Moon. As always, do note that translations are preliminary while we work on them. The bear is called Kiteruguma and is Normal/Fighting with the abilities Fluffy and Klutz, while the ghost is Mimicyu and is Ghost/Fairy. It has the ability called False Colours.
People in Alola are scared of Kiteruguma to the point of having warning signs about it. It is really strong and can break anything in two. It likes to hug its trainers but is strong. Raising one puts your life in danger.
Mimicyu hates sunlight, preferring dark places. It is rumoured that the cloth covering its body is a strategy to avoid the sun. Don't try to remove the cloth it is said that those that do become afflicted with an illness. Mimicyu's costume is based on Pikachu merch that was popular 20 years ago.
