Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on August 13th will focus on Froakie, and add its shiny into the game. This event will 3* Catch Stardust, 2* Catch Experience and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the moves Water Shuriken and Hydro Cannon to Greninja. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research "A Bubbly Disposition".

Pokémon Sleep has finished its maintenance and has dropped an update to fix the issues adddressed yesterday including meals not coming at the right time and issues with Relaxing Sounds They have also announced more fixes coming including fixing a bug with volume control, reducing power consumption if the phone is face up, fixing a bug with friend requests when the player has 50 friends, fixing a bug that causes the game to freeze in a new week and fixing a bug that causes energy tutorial to be unplayable

The Pokémon Company International have been kind enough to offer us the exclusive official reveal of four of the cards in the upcoming set, Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames. This set is due out on August 11th 2023 with pre-releases starting on July 19th.
The first cards we reveal are a standard Gloom card with artwork by Haru Akasaka and a standard Togekiss card with artwork by Cona Nitanda
The Pokémon ex card we can reveal is the Dragon Tera Type Dragonite ex with artwork by by 5ban Graphics

On July 28th 2023 to August 18th 2023, a special code to get a Shiny Grimsnarl will be hidden on the official website in Singapore, Thailand, and the Phillipines. This Grimmsnarl is based on the Grimmsnarl used by the Champion of the Thailand Championships in 2022 and comes with the ability Prankster and the moves Thunder Wave, Spirit Break, Reflect and Light Screen

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Blaze New Trails event and is due to run from July 21st at 10:00 to July 24th at 20:00 local time and introduces Zygarde 10% Forme into the game
Growlithe, Ponyta, Doduo, Lillipup, Blitzle and Yungoos will be in the wild, with an increased chance to find Shiny Yungoos
Rockruff, Skwovet and Falinks will be in 7km Eggs
You'll have 2/3 Buddy Candy distance when exploring routes
Yungoos will be in Field Research
Special Research will be running called From A to Zygarde to get the Pokémon Zygarde. You can find Zygarde Cells when exploring a route. These are stored in your Zygarde Cube and can be used to change Zygarde's form
The new routes feature is live and allows you to follow another trainer's route. Players can create routes that can be reviewed and then can be explored. When exploring, your Buddy can find a bonus heart, you will get a new badge, earn Buddy Candy quicker and have more Pokémon attracted to Incense the first time you follow a route

Registration is now open for the Pokémon Trainer Cruise at the Pokémon World Championships. If you register, you will be able to enter the docked boat to play Pokémon Scarlet & Violet for battles, trades and Tera Battles, challenge the TCG battles or take photos of the various decorations on the boat. It is available from August 11th through 13th and you require bringing a deck and/or your Nintendo Switch. There is also a special competitor section on the boat where competitiors will need to show their badge and bring up to two people to enter You can register through the Official Registration Form

There will be a Live Streaming Zone where players can watch a livestream of the event
There will be a Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Tera Raid Battle area where players can participate in Tera Raid Battles. There will be no Serial Code distributions for this
The Pokémon Play Lab returns to allow players to learn the TCG and play new styles of games
A Pokémon GO Quiz Rally will be held where you visit PokéStops in the game and answer quizes about it
There will be a Pokémon UNITE play area to try out Pokémon UNITE

This peripheral is the third accessory for Pokémon GO and has added features of auto catching Pokémon with Poké Balls, in addition to auto spinning PokéStops and allowing you to catch with Great and Ultra Balls when pressing the button. It also tracks your Sleep Data if you wish to share with Pokémon GO and Pokémon Sleep
When connected to Pokémon GO, you will get Special research to get a Night Cap Snorlax, and when connected to Pokémon Sleep upon its release later this month, you will get an additional Night Cap Pikachu as a Helper Pokémon

The "Water-Type Masters" High Score Event has begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This event has you play against stages, getting scored based on how many hits you land, how long you take and how many stat boosts you give yourself or reductions inflicted on your opponent, with rewards being given based on your score. It runs until July 25th 2023
A new Poké Fair Scout is now available to get the Sync Pair of Lysandre & Volcanion and Gloria & Urshifu. The scout runs until July 25th 2023

Pokémon Sleep has entered its short open beta and we are starting to delve into the details of the game with details to come over the coming days, ahead of its launch. It appears that Shiny versions of Pokémon will be available within the game
Edit @ 10:50: Each Pokémon you find has a Main Skill and certain Sub Skills that unlock as you level up your Pokémon. These Sub Skills are different between each Pokémon of the same species so if you have two different Pikachu, they will have a different set of Sub Skills that unlock. They also find different items with different levels that unlock them meaning building a team of multiple of the same Pokémon can be beneficial

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on July 30th will focus on Poliwag. This event will 25% Egg Distance, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Counter to Poliwrath and Ice Beam to Politoed. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research "Slippery Swirls".
There will also be Timed Research to get some King's Rock
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Delphox event. This event has Delphox appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Fairy Tera Type. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one Delphox from raids per save file
This event runs until July 9th at 23:59 UTC and will repeat again next week

Throughout summer, the different Pokémon Centers in Japan will be holding a special Summer Program from July 22nd through August 31st. This campaign includes a variety of things including getting a battle manual as a free gift and participating in Tera Raid Battles. If you participate in the Tera Raid Battles you will receive a special Serial Code to get items such as Rare Candy and Bottle Caps

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Catching Some Z's event and is due to run from July 15th at 10:00 to July 16th at 20:00 local time and introduces Komala into the game
Jigglypuff, Abra, Drowzee, Snorlax, Mareep, Teddiursa, Slakoth, Wooloo, Munna and Komala will spawn in the wild
Abra, Galarian Slowpoke, Drowzee will be in 1 Star raids
Gloom, Snorlax, Delcatty and Swadloon will be in 3 Star Raids
Regieleki will be in 5 Star Raids
All players will get a Snorlax Night Cap for free and a Snorlax Onesie will be available in the game store

New details have been released for the coming game, Pokémon Sleep
The goal of the game is to finish your Sleep Style Dex and each Pokémon has got specific styles
In the day you can feed your Snorlax berries and meals to improve its strength and you will get a Sleep Score when you sleep based on how long and well you sleep, multiplied by Snorlax's sleep, in order to determine your Drowsy Power which attracts Pokémon. This helps Snorlax grow and the bigger Snorlax gets, the more Pokémon you get
The game tracks various elements including when you sleep and wake up and even can track recordings to see if you make too much noise while you sleep
There are three types of sleep: Dozing, Snoozing and Slumbering and the different kind of sleep you get determines the Pokémon you find

There are three cycles of play. Night is where you can track your sleep. Morning is where you research the Pokémon that arrived to complete your Sleep Style Dex, and even befriend the Pokémon you find and Afternoon is where you can help raise Snorlax's Strength toincrease its Drowsy Power by using berries gathered by the befriended Pokémon
It is not recommended that you place your device under your pillow or blankets as it may overheat
The game is now scheduled for release in late July

Every Monday, players will be able to choose a new site and encounter a new Snorlax to raise to start off the week of research. More Pokémon will appear at the weekends as well
You can also register other players as friends to share sleep duration and sleep styles studied. Players can get rewards for reviewing friends sleep research

In these, you can assign a Pokémon to a showcase at select PokéStops that rate Pokémon based on things such as size, weight and more. Up to 200 Pokémon will be able to be added to the PokéStop. You will then get a variety of rewards when the showcase continues including items such as Stardust, experience and more

Pokémon HOME - Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Update
Pokémon HOME has received another small fix. From May 30th through to today, if you put the Alpha Hisuian Zoroark, Alpha Hisuian Goodra or Alpha Overqwil that were caught in the story in Pokémon Legends Arceus, they wouldn't be maximum height and be eligible for the Jumbo Mark. Now, a fix has been pushed and they will be eligible when put into Scarlet & Violet. If they are currently in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, if you put them into your boxes in Pokémon HOME, this issue will be resolved and when you return them into Scarlet & Violet, they will be eligible to get the Jumbo Mark

The Yokohama Open has been announced for the Pokémon World Championships. This event is for VGC and TCG and runs during the Pokémon World Championships running the standard rules and runs on August 12th and August 13th 2023. All players for the Yokohama Open must have access to the World Championships through Competitor Badge or Spectator Badge. This event will be the first in the 2024 season and will allow players to earn Championship Points ahead of the 2024 Season

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Season 8 has begun. This season is the first that runs Regulation D ruleset which allows for the use of Pokémon transferred from Pokémon HOME, Regional Variants and SubLegendary Pokémon from past games. This season will run until July 31st 2023 at 23:59 UTC
Alongside this, as Season 7 is now over, the rewards are able to be collected for all players

From now on, if you have obtained Irida & Glaceon already, you have the ability to invite Acerola into the Trainer Lodge and befriend her. If you get the Friendship Level to 100, you will now be able to get the new Sync Pair, Irida & Flareon. We have updated our Trainer Lodge Topics page to include the points each topic will give you when you speak to Irida
