New Pokémon Forms

As we approach the build up for a new game, new Pokémon forms have been revealed, with their first appearances tying in with the new series of the anime, Pokémon XY & Z. This page will be updated with more information as we get it, as well as shifted into any corrolating game section.

Ash-Greninja
US Name: Ash-Greninja Jp. Name: Satoshi Gekkouga Type: Water/Dark-type Height: 1.5m Weight: 40.0kg Ability: ?? First Appearance: ?? Details: "Ash Greninja" is an alternate form of Greninja that was showcased in the poster for the anime, Pokémon XY & Z, in the CoroCoro issue released on September 15th 2015. It is said that it resembles its trainer, Ash, and his clothing. It also describes Ash-Greninja as the form that Greninja takes when the bond between it and Ash is raised to the limit. The strength of their bond changes Greninja's appearance, and it takes on the characteristic look of Ash's attire. This phenomenon is also said to have happened just once several hundred years ago in the Kalos region, but it remains shrouded in mystery.
Zygarde Cell
US Name: Zygarde Cell Jp. Name: Zygarde Cell Type: ?? Height: ?? Weight: ?? Ability: ?? First Appearance: ?? Details: Zygarde Cell was first seen in a trailer for Mega Evolution Act 4, before being properly revealed in the CoroCoro issue released on September 15th 2015. If it merges with Zygarde Core, it becomes the body of further Zygarde forms This stage has been identified as the single Cells that make up Zygarde. Cells do not possess any will or thought processes. They're found scattered throughout the region. Since they can't use any moves, researchers question whether they can even be called Pokémon!
Zygarde Core
US Name: Zygarde Core Jp. Name: Zygarde Core Type: ?? Height: ?? Weight: ?? Ability: ?? First Appearance: ?? Details: Zygarde Core was first seen in a trailer for the 2016 Pokémon movie at the end of the movie, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages on July 18th 2015. It was then revealed in the following CoroCoro to be in the anime special Mega Evolution Act 4. It was finally properly revealed in the CoroCoro issue released on September 15th 2015.If it merges with multiple Zygarde Cell, it becomes the brain of further Zygarde Complete Forms. At this stage, this aspect of Zygarde is little more than a part of the Pokémon's brain. Unlike the Cells, the Cores are self-aware and can communicate with Cells and other Cores via telepathy. When a change occurs in the local region's ecosystem, Cores have been known to take action.
Zygarde 10% Forme
US Name: Zygarde 10% Forme Jp. Name: Zygarde 10% Forme Type: Dragon/Ground Height: 1.2m Weight: 33.5kg Ability: ?? First Appearance: ?? Details: Zygarde 10% Forme was revealed in the CoroCoro issue released on September 15th 2015 and is set to be a major player in the upcoming arc of the anime, Pokémon XY & Z. It is one of Zygarde's Complete Forms Zygarde 10% is the Forme that the Zygarde Core takes when it gathers 10% of the Cells nearby. Capable of traveling over 60 mph (100 km/h), it defeats enemies with its sharp fangs and its incredible speed.
Zygarde Complete Forme
US Name: Zygarde Complete Forme Jp. Name: Zygarde Perfect Forme Type: Dragon/Ground Height: 4.5m Weight: 610kg Ability: ?? First Appearance: ?? Details: Zygarde Perfect Forme was first seen in a trailer for the 2016 Pokémon movie at the end of the movie, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages on July 18th 2015. It was then revealed in the following CoroCoro to be in the anime special Mega Evolution Act 4. It was finally properly revealed in the CoroCoro issue released on September 15th 2015. This is the perfect Forme that Zygarde takes when the Core gathers 100% of the Cells. When the ecosystem is under threat, and the Core concludes that the 50% Forme will be unable to deal with it, the Core takes on the Complete Forme. Its power is said to be greater than that of the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal!
