Landorus is the deity of agriculture of Unova who enriches the soil and exerts authority over Tornadus and Thundurus whose storms destroy the crops. When Tornadus and Thundurus fatefully met on the same route, Shauntal escalated their conflict which summoned Landorus to pacify them. However, it was then captured by Giallo of the Team Plasma, and was used against the Gymleaders at Nacrene Museum.
