During the Pokémon World Championships Opening Ceremony, it was revealed that the arcade game, Pokkén Tournament, is to make it to the west with a Wii U version of the game. It will release worldwide Spring 2016 and now also has Pikachu Libre added to the roster

Pokémon Championship Series - World Champions Stream

The Pokémon World Championships are taking place this weekend in Boston, Massachussets in the USA. As it has for the past few years, the championships are to be streamed on Twitch. As this specific event is being streamed globally by The Pokémon Company, we have embedded the stream into our World Championships stream section of our Video Game Championship section. Pokémon - Pikachu Cup

Battling for the latest Battle Competition has begun. The Pikachu Cup is a Double Battle Competition where only Electric-type Pokémon can enter, including those who have been transferred from previous games. The Pokémon Zapdos, Raikou, Arceus, Thundurus and Zekrom cannot be used. The battles run from August 21st to August 23rd. There's a special prize for entering, but it's dependant on Pikachu's placement in the most used Pokémon (Cosplay Pikachu doesn't count to this). If first to third, a special Pikachu will be distributed. If fourth to twelfth, a Light Ball and if it isn't in the Top 12, 1000 PokéMiles will be given

Pokémon - CoroCoro Challenge

Following its reveal last week, the entry gift for the special CoroCoro Challenge Battle Competition has been announced. If you enter this competition, you will get the gift of a Master Ball. This competition is only available in Japan and is only open to elementary school age children. Registration runs from August 27th to September 25th and the battles running from September 25th to September 28th

Pokémon Shuffle - Events

The next Pokémon Shuffle event stage has begun its repeat run. This stage is the Groudon stage and will run for the next week until August 28th at 06:00 UTC. This provides another chance to get the rare Legendary Pokémon Groudon. This is following a repeat of all 3 Hoenn Legends and will be followed by a repeat of Rayquaza next week.
