This is the third year of the Pokémon GO Championship Series, and featured a massive change to the structure for Pokémon GO, adding Championship Points, bringing it up to the same standard as VGC and TCG. Any Regional win guarantees Day 1 entry to the World Championships |

Regionals Details
Regional Championships are set up across the world, mostly in North America, to provide small competitions beyond the Premier Challenges to allow for players to earn CP. There are a number of Regional competitions each year and they all follow the standard format. They often have side events for all players.

Following the removal of the National Championship Series, four special Championships are to be held. These will get special points akin to that of Nationals and high prize payouts.
