Dark Temple Missions

Difficulty: 3.5 The first mission in the Dark Temple has you hunting for five Sunflora. The Sunflora are hidden away in the stage and requires you to step on the switches on the ground to make them appear. However, like before, only a few of these switches have the Sunflora and you need to be careful of the Pokémon you find there. After you have obtained all 5 Pokémon, you have access to the boss; Vespiquen. Vespiquen is a bug Pokémon so it'd be best to bring a fire-type. Vespiquen is an incredibly agile Pokémon and attacks by shooting poison darts out at the opponent..

Difficulty: 4 The next mission in the Dark Temple is another where it may be best to scout ahead and get Clocks before you start hunting. The task here is to capture 6 Murkrow. You'll be able to find five of them together, in addition to a Honchkrow, but the sixth is further into the stage and is frightened so will try and escape so will be a bit of a hassle to catch up to before you can even capture. Once all six Murkrow have been captured, you'll get access to the next boss room. This boss is Gliscor. As a Ground type, it's susceptable to Water, Ground & Ice assists. It has a move that when slashes, will send a swarm of dark pulses out across the field, coming from behind it. It will slash on its own and manipulate the ground to damage your styler.

Ground-Shaking Dragon Pokémon | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Difficulty: 4.5 The third mission in the Dark Temple is another maze where you have several paths to choose. This time, you'll get multiple options in a room, each with a switch. Hit the right switch and the pathway will open up. Hit the wrong one, and some Pokémon may appear. Your task here is to find and capture 3 Gardevoir in the West, North & East of the main room. Once all three have been captured, the room to the boss opens up. The boss in this case is Salamence. Salamence is a Dragon Pokémon so an Ice or Dragon assist will certainly come in handy for defeating it. Salamence's attacks ranger from sending out a simple Blue Flame to sending out massive pillars of these blue flames.

Glowing Roads in the Darkness | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Difficulty: 4.5 The final mission in the Dark Temple is another maze where you have to navigate between the different areas via hidden tiles. Your task here is to find and capture the 5 Gengar. Four of the Gengar will be out in the open for you to find, but one of them is only findable after you have stepped on a switch. After all five Gengar have been captured and you make you way back to the main room, you have access to the boss. The boss here is Dusknoir. As a Ghost-type, Ghost and Dark assists will be helpful. Dusknoir creates a shadowy cloud that goes around the edge of the stage anti-clockwise. It also shoots out dark pulses in any direction. It'll also create many shadowy clouds and walk across the stage spreading them.

After defeating the "Glowing Roads in the Darkness" mission, Arceus will begin causing problems at the top of the Light Temple and you unlock the Light Temple to calm it
