Like the Pokémon Ranger game that preceeded: Shadows of Almia, this game also has a variety of missions for you to play through after you have completed everything in the main game. Like the previous game, these missions are to be given over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and as such, are only likely to be available for a limited time. These missions are likely to encompass both missions where you get prizes to transfer and standard missions that expand the game's storyline. Below is a list of the missions and what you have to do within them;

There are numerous Pokémon around to capture so go around and capture the ones you feel will be helpful such as Umbreon and Gengar. Go to the main room with Leira. Giratina will appear and challenge you in its Altered Forme. It will create some ghostly balls on the ground that can interefre. It also has an attack that sends out these balls towards you. Another attack it has involves it sending out small beams of dark energy around the arena. Avoiding these beams should be relatively simple. When you capture the Giratina, the true mission begins. Head to the other part of the ruins and you'll find a Yoroibito guard. Follow him and you'll see he gets kidnapped by two Claydol. You will find him right near the main entrance to the ruins and he will reveal his identity as a Pokémon Napper. Speak to him and you'll all go to the hallway where the statues are. Leira will go up to one and activate a teleport that takes her away, with you quickly jumping in.
You get taken to a new part of the Oblivia Ruins and will be challenged by two Magnezone. Capture them, and Leira will collect the Griseous Orb from the stature. Return to the room you previously battle Giratina in and Leira will give Giratina the Griseous Orb and thus it'll change form. It'll challenge you. Like the Altered Form, it will place down several ghostly balls on the ground. One of its attacks will send a massive wave of these balls across the arena. After it rages, it will begin shooting out small projectiles of blue flames that will cause significant damage if they hit. Capture it and the mission ends.

Its attacks are similar to its attacks in the past mission. it will create three energy balls to surround it to help hinder your progress at capturing. It will also send out a multitude of energy balls against you and will call down many energy beams from the ceiling to hit you. These beams will either be sent out in a wave or will just fall down around Arceus. After it has raged, it will also have an attack that will send massive meteors down onto the arena causing catastrophic damage if they hit. Capture it and the mission is over.

Unlike the four previous missions, you cannot transfer Arceus to your Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver games
