Alternate Forms

Starting in the third generation, Pokémon have gradually been getting alternate forms. These forms have a variety of different obtaining methods. Several adapt based on location such as Burmy & Wormadam, but there are now many others and some with complex methods of changing form. This page is to detail the new form changes and the way to get the old ones who have a different method to obtain the forms than last gen.
Pokémon Black 2 & White provided a variety of New Forms for Pokémon, but all previous ones are able to change form easily

#641/642/645 Tornadus/Thundurus/Landorus

Changeable?: Yes

Method:
The forms of Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus are fully capable of being changed. This is done using the item, Reveal Glass, which is obtained by taking the Therian Forme Landorus to Abundant Shrine. Then, when you use the item, it will switch the Pokémon between forms. If you change the Pokémon obtained in Dream Radar to the Incarnate Form, they will have their Hidden Ability. However, you can also change Incarnate Form Tornadus/Thundurus/Landorus captured in Black & White into their Therian Forme.

#646 Kyurem

Changeable?: Yes

Method:
The forms of Kyurem are unique in that they take another Pokémon and completely envelop them in order to create the new form in a process called Absofusion. This is done using the special item, DNA Splicers which is found in Giant Chasm after capturing Kyurem. When you use this item, you have to select Kyurem and either Reshiram or Zekrom. This will merge the Pokémon together into a far stronger Pokémon. This can be reverted at any time, using the item. Any changes to Kyurem such as Level and EVs carry over to each form of Kyurem, while Reshiram or Zekrom remain untouched. For example, if you fuse a Level 70 Kyurem and a Level 70 Reshiram, and level Kyurem up to Level 92, when you defuse them, Kyurem will remain Level 92 and Reshiram will still be Level 70. However, the moves on Kyurem will reset to the last four in its level up from the current level.
