Previous Pokémon games had several differences between the two versions. In all games there were different Pokémon in different locations and Ruby & Sapphire took it further by having a different storyline between the games. However, Black & White take this feature to another level and includes areas that are slightly and completely different between the two games. This section will be updated with further details as and when we get them.
Black City Black City is a city that is completely exclusive to Pokémon Black. This city will feature many characters and tasks that will not occur in Pokémon White. In it, you'll find numerous trainers to battle and numerous shops selling items. |

White Forest White Forest is a city that is completely exclusive to Pokémon White. Unlike Black City, White Forest will have a variety of wild Pokémon as well as characters and tasks that will not occur in Pokémon Black. These include 32 Pokémon unavailable in Black and a variety of items. |
Aesthetic Changes
In addition to the completely different areas in the same place of Unova, a variety of cities and areas in the Unova region will have aesthetic differences in the different versions. Specifically is Opelucid City, which has a more technological appearance in Pokémon Black but appears more rustic within Pokémon White. The Gym Leader within this city changes based on the game as well. Drayden in Pokémon Black and Iris in Pokémon White. However, they both have the same team.
In addition to these changes in aesthetics, there are slight differences within the people and buildings in town. The Battle House there has different styles of battle based on the version. A character will also want you to show a Pokémon with Charge from the other game in each city, in Black's so he can travel back in time and in White so that he can return to his own time. He'll give you the Cell Battery.
Mistralton City also has a slight difference in appearance in appearance, although unlike Opelucid City, there are no further changes based on it. In Pokémon Black, alongside the airfield there are numerous greenhouses. However, in Pokémon White, there are just various plots of ground to signify plant growing, though you can't use them to grow berries.
