Like the previous games in the series since Ruby & Sapphire introduced the concept, Pokémon Black and Pokémon White are to introduce a variety of new abilities into the fold. At the moment, only one ability is currently known, but based on it, the abilities are set to make a definite impact to the game. This page will detail all the abilities revealed prior to the game's release.

Pickpocket

Effect:
It steals the item of an opponent that touches it.

In-Depth Effect:
When a Pokémon makes physical contact with the Pokémon, the item is stolen.

It reverses changes to its stats.
