Battle Revolution News

Earlier today some new information regarding Battle Revolution was revealed:

  • There are 6 base models for the Custom Trainers with a massive variety of accessories and choices, many of which are obtained over time as you earn PokéCoupons and defeat the Colosseums. They vary from a Young Boy & Girl to Body Builders or Women. It's all up to you
  • After you have defeated all of the Colosseums and completed a certain task, you will be able to utilise the Lucario Suit that the leader uses in your custom character designs
  • A New Colosseum has been revealed. It features Midnight Battles in front of a castle that was made in the design of Toridepusu's Skull. This colosseum is said to be used for the most powerful battles.
  • It is said that there appear to be only 10 different Colosseums in the game, at least at first...
  • Like in past games, there is the Free Battle mode that allows you to challenge your friends. However, you can do this with the Wii Remote and even save your team and character onto it and take it to a friends house if you don't have access to your DS. Handy indeed
  • WiFi has two modes; Battling your friends through the use of the Wii's Friend Codes and you can be matched against people across the world based on your own skills. This is in real time unlike the battles in the Battle Tower of Diamond & Pearl, so you can battle anyone who matches your skills. A Challenge indeed
More Soon. I have added a number of pictures to the pre-release gallery:

Battle Revolution News

The official site has revealed a few new features in Battle Revolutin;

  • You can store 32 Saved Teams onto Battle Revolution from your DS game in order to have quick access to them without requiring your DS
  • Rental Pokémon make a come back for when you wish to Battle friends who do not have Diamond or Pearl. These are done in the new Colosseum; Gate Colosseum which is overlooked by Pokétopia
    Gate Colosseum
  • PokéCoupons return for when you win in the Single Player Mode. This Game allows you to purchase items for use in the Colosseum's single player battles or to transfer back down to Diamond & Pearl
    PokéCoupons
  • For the single player mode, which isn't an RPG, you can copy your Pokémon over to the game to use them. They will gain EXP, Effort Values and so forth in these battles and when you transfer it back, it will OVERWRITE it. You cannot disconnect the DS either and trade it to someone else so you can duplicate making it so that duplication is impossible.

Battle Revolution News

The latest CoroCoro has been revealed with some further details about Pokémon Battle Revolution, the first Pokémon Wii game due out in Japan next month. While it didn't divulge much new, it did divulge some interesting stuff, one of which many trainers have been begging for for years;

  • First, unlike previous reports back earlier this year, this game does appear to be more Stadium based than Story Based. While there is a load of characters to beat, it is set within the hubs set out like the ones in Pokémon Stadium on the N64. Below is the 3D art of the area in question from CoroCoro
    Battle Revolution Land
  • There is a leader of the Colosseums here. His name is currently unknown but it is likely he uses Lucario based on his hat
    Colosseum Leader Colosseum Leader
  • Finally, Battle Revolution features a brilliant Custom Character Mode. Like the Mii Channel on the Wii itself, this allows you to make the best looking trainer you want and battle with them in full 3D. These will even translate across the WiFi Connection so you can battle your friends with them
