New Starters

The official art has been finally released for the three new starters, Naetle, Hikozaru, and Pochama which are the Grass, Fire and Water types respectively.

We have learnt that Naetoru, the grass type starting Pokémon is of the "YoungLeaf" classification and it's Ability is Overgrow. Hikozaru, the fire type starter is calssified as a "SmallMonkey" and it's ability will be Blaze. Pochama which is the water type will be in the classification of "Penguin" Pokémon and will have the ability Torrent.

Here we have two previous released Pokémon, Rozureido and Erekiburu. Rozureido is the evolution of Roselia who will be classified as a Bouquet Pokémon, while Erekiburu will be of the Lightning Classification. Rozureido will have two abilities, Natural Cure and Poison Point while Erekiburu will have only one which will be Electric Engine.

New Attacks
Also we have news of some more attacks while will be learnt by previously announced Pokémon. Dorapion learns a poison type attack which will Poison Pokémon straight away when switched into battle. Lucario will have a move called Feint which will break through opposing Pokémon defensive moves, such as Detect or Protect. Perap signature move will be known as Chattering which inflicts confusion. There will be a feature which will allow you to record your own voice into the microphone of the DS, but little is unknown of this as of yet.

Possible Starters

By now you should all know how I hate posting un-confirmed stuff but I kind of had to in regards to this. Earlier this morning an image containing 3 Pokémon appeared. Now unlike the previous fakes that we have known these look completely professional and done in the right style. However we do have no source for them so we are completely unsure of their authenticity. From the looks of things the Kangaroo is Fighting Type, Rhino is Psychic and Cat is Dark. This follows the previously revealed statement from the official site stating that the starters are Psychic, Dark & Fighting.
However it does contradict the Blog post we found the other day, but as I said then that wasn't confirmed. But at the moment there is absolutely no way to tell if these Pokémon are real or not, I will however keep you aprised when we find out

Fake Pokémon

Well a few more fakes have cropped up, again I may go on about how they are really annoying for me to have to deal with in damage control across the entire community of websites...it most certainly isn't fun. Be sure to always check the site if you see something suspicious. If it's not here then chances are its fake. But if its spreading and people are believing or you are unsure, just e-mail me and I'll try and confirm as soon as I can

There are some sihlouettes flying about that people are claiming to be starters. As of now there are currently no sources and no proof so they are likely to be fake, but then again they may not be. Lucky us

Pokémon Names & Possible Starter Descriptions?

First off is the pretty much confirmed stuff is that we have three new Pokémon names from some official merchandise being released in Japan later this year. These names are Naetoru, Hikozaru & Bocchama. Now these names are speculated to be for the starters with Naetoru meaning Sprout Beetle and Hikozaru meaning Fire Child Ape. However this association is yet to be confirmed. If it is confirmed it puts to question the previously revealed information from the official site regarding the starter triangle.

However, in a Japanese Blog, a person claimed to get an Exclusive Tour of Nintendo HQ and saw the three starting Pokémon. He states that the starters follow the previous type triangle and claims that the Fire Type had the name Hikozaru. He described the Grass Starter as having a body similar to Chikorita and a face like Trapinch. The Fire Type he also confirmed to be a Fire Ape similar to how the name obtained on official merchandise states. Finally he states that the water type seems to be similar to a Penguin in appearance.

However since this information has come from a Blog, chances are it's fake...but if not and if the writer is sincere, this could be the first information we have for the starters. Chances are we will not know for sure until next week at the earliest, maybe mid-September. Remember, the above information is NOT 100% confirmed so take it with a grain of salt. Thanks to Coronis for the translations. Rest assured, we will keep you aprised on these as soon as possible

Slow News Time...as previously said, we should get some soon

Fake Pokémon Page

First, allow me to level with you, I am fed up. Over 20 times today on the forums people posted a Lickitung evolution that someone created on the forums and posted around a month ago. However since it turned up on a Japanese Image Board a couple of days ago, sites have been running around posting it as a new Pokémon and people thusly follow through with this, posting it and e-mailling it.
Well, I have had enough. I have decided to add the recent 6 Fake Pokémon to the Fake Pokémon section of the website, the section that only deals with commonly believed Pokémon. From now on, I ask you...if you see a Pokémon that is not on the site, don't believe it unless its from a retributal source. Just because it is Japanese does not make it real:
