Niantic have announced that Pokémon GO is to add the Master Ball through the final bit of the Let's GO special Research which will be available from May 22nd 2023. This Master Ball will be able to catch any Pokémon without fail regardless of if it's through the wild, Lure Modules, after Raids or in Incense. This Special Research will need to be started before 10:00 local time on June 1st

Pokémon Masters EX - Story Event
The "Trials on the Isle" Story Event has begun a repeat run in Pokémon Masters EX. This event is based around all the characters of the Alola Region and has you complete various stages for item rewards as well as to pick up story points for the various characters. It runs until June 2nd
