The Japan Championships 2022 are the Championships that allow players from Japan to earn a place in the Pokémon World Championships. Entry to the competition is earned through a variety of competitions.

VGC
Players in VGC earn their place by ranking high in the 2022 International Challenge February, 2022 International Challenge February, 2022 International Challenge February and Japan Championship Qualifiers online competitions. The top 30 players from the International Challenges and 60 from the Qualifiers will be able to participate.

TCG
Players with TCG have to enter a lottery after participating in a Pokémon Card Game Players Club event. In addition to that, the top 32 players in the Pokémon Champions League Kyoto, Fukuoka, Aichi and Yokohama competitions, and the Top 200 in CSP ranking will have priority

GO
Players in Pokémon GO will need to earn entry in various online competitions held by The Pokémon Company, as well as special tournaments held at Pokémon Centers across Japan.

Pokémon Restrictions: Available National Pokédex, (if they have Galar Mark or Battle Ready Mark
