Strategy Using Relicanth

Yeesh, I guess you people might be a little tired of the same old boring sweeper sets? Sorry, nothing is going to change on this day. There might be some variatons to this pokemon such as trying its other trait along with rain dance, but I find it quite useless. It has horrible special attack, well below average special defense, and lackluster speed. However, the good news is that it has great defense and HP, and its attack is actually managable. I put on 3 generic physical attacks to do damage with. It may seem dull to you guys, but you have to first master the dull, generic, and useful sets before you can even try to be unique with success. Chesto rest is thrown on there because of its great defense, I am hoping that it will be able tot ake a hit, and that when you are using it you can identify when it is in danger and needs to switch, or when it is safe to chesto rest.

EV Corner:

Attack and Defense, just put em in there and watch as you take hits and do more damage, like magic!

Strategy Against Relicanth

Electric? Ground? Grass? Fighting? Most any special attack that it is not resistant to? Take yuor pick really. With its slow speed it can easily be picked off. Just try not to switch in too often against it because it can catch you for a nice bit of damage that benefits him more than your switching in to try to defeat it.

Contest Moveset

The best Moveset for Relicanth would have to be this for the Tough Contest best with Impish, Lax, Relaxed or Bold Nature:

Take Down
