It has been confirmed that Shigeki Morimoto is going to show some live Pokémon Sun & Moon gameplay footage at Gamescom in Cologne on Thursday. This footage will be streamed through Nintendo Germany's Twitch channel from 17:00 CEST, which is 16:00 BST, 11:00 EDT and 08:00 PDT. It's not currently known what will be shown in this but we'll report on any new information as it comes

It has been confirmed that the Nintendo DS classic, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, is to hit the Wii U Virtual Console in Europe on Thursday this week. This classic Nintendo DS game has already been released in Japan & the US. It will cost Ł8.99/€9.99 to download

A few brand new challenges have begun on Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
First up, the Typhlosion stage has begun. This is the first chance to get it. It runs until August 30th 2016
Next, a repeat Competitive Challenge for Mega Garchomp's Garchompite has begun. If you are in the top 1,800 in North America, 1,200 in Europe or 5,000 in Japan, you will get a Garchompite, Mega Speedup and a Skill Swapper. If you are in the top 5,300 in America, 3,500 in Europe or 15,000 in Japan, you'll get a Garchompite and a Mega Speedup. If you're in the top 22,000 in North America, 14,000 in Europe and 60,000 in Japan, you'll get a Garchompite and Exp. Booster S. If you're in the top 29,000 in North America, 19,000 in Europe or 80,000 in Japan, you'll get an Attack Power and Exp. Booster S. If you already have a Garchompite, you'll get a Raise Max Level. All other players get an Attack Power
Next, a special stage to allow for access to Suicune. If you have already caught Suicune, you may get a Suicune Skill Booster or a Raise Max Level. It runs until August 23rd 2016
Next, the Daily Pokémon (#4) is having a repeat run until August 30th. This allows for Seviper, Wynaut, Torkoal, Zangoose and Luvdisc on each respective weekday. If you already have the Pokémon, the stage may drop coins.
Finally, a repeat run of Lugia has begun. It runs until August 30th and may drop a Lugia Skill Booster
