The Pokémon Company has put out some new footage of the Pokédex in Pokémon Let's Go. This footage showcases the PokéDex elements including a 360 degree view of the Pokémon and animations, much like past games.

Pokémon Video Game Championships 2019 Ruleset

VGC 2019 ruleset has been announced. This ruleset is to be the return of GS Cup, allowing for 2 Legendary Pokémon that are normally banned (Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala & Necrozma) and begins September 4th. With this it also separates into three different series
Sun Series from September 4th to January 7th bans Mega Stones, Z-Crystals and Primal Pokémon
Moon Series from January 8th to April 1st bans Mega Stones, Red Orb, Blue Orb, Ultranecrozium Z and Mega Rayquaza
Ultra Series from April 2nd to Worlds allows for all moves and items
In addition to this, Player Time has been increased from 5 minutes up to 7 minutes per match

The currently running Johto Festival event in Pokémon GO is due to end on Tuesday at 20:00 UTC. This event features a massive increase in spawns of Pokémon from the Johto Region, as well as various Johto themed Raid Battles and Field Research. This also includes Raid Battles with Ho-Oh which are to end a day earlier on Monday at 20:00 UTC. The Celebi Special Research will continue onwards forever, regardless of this event

Today marks the second day of the Pokémon World Championships and, like recent events, the entire event is going to be officially streamed by The Pokémon Company International across four different streams. Each game has got its own individual stream and there will be a stream that switches between the two
All streams begin shortly before 15:00 BST / 10:00 EDT / 07:00 PDT / 00:00 AEST
