A new event has been announced. On November 3, a special Gengar Day will be held. For 3 hours, there will be nothing but Gengar Raids in a similar manner to the Legendary Birds this summer. Pokémon GO - Adventure Sync
A new feature has been announced for Pokémon GO, the Adventure Sync. This feature tracks egg distance when you have GO in the background and helps keep track of various distances you travel. It also gives you rewards each week for each milestone you pass and you obtain push notifications every time your Buddy Pokémon finds Candy or when an Egg is due to hatch. It also links up with Google Fit and Apple Health. This feature will roll out across all devices very soon and is an opt-in feature so you don't need to have it active in your game if you do not wish.
