Pokémon Virtual Fest
The Pokémon Company have announced Pokémon Virtual Fest, running from August 12th through August 31sst. This is an online virtual theme park involving rides based on Pokémon, various shows and even footage of Pokémon Sword & Shield battles. You have the ability to customise your character's appearance, go on rides such as the Galarian Weezing Train or the Gigantamax Ferris Wheel as well as participate in various missions created by SCRAP, the company behind many escape rooms in Japan. There are four areas of the park: Event Stage, Attraction Area, Beach Area where you can take pictures and Store Area where you can buy various goods such as parts for your avatar. It also has several mini-games including Inteleon's Shooting Shop and Dugtrio's Ring-Throwing Shop.

It has been announced that Japanese Variety Show, Oha Suta, will showcase the latest trailer for the movie Pokémon the Movie Coco, during the episode set to air on Wednesday August 5th. This will air 12 hours before the scheduled livestream which will include further news for the movie
