Following this weekend's special September Equinox event, the Max Raid Battle Event has reverted back to the Electric and Grass-type event. From now until September 30th at 23:59 UTC, certain Grass or Electric-type Pokémon including Gigantamax Flapple, Appletun and Toxtricity are in Max Raid Battles..

Niantic have announced the next few events in Pokémon GO as part of a collaboration between Pokémon & Longchamp, running from October 2nd at 08:00 PDT to October 8th at 22:00 PDT. In this, Kirlia and Shinx in Top Hats will appear in raids, Croagunk with a backwards cap in the wild and Photobombs and Smoochum Wearing a Bow will be iun Eggs. Shiny Kricketot will be available in the event and some special Field Research will appear. Mareep, Skitty, Roselia, Kricketot, Croagunk wearing a backward cap, Blitzle, Cottonee, Minccino, Gothita will also spawn in the wild.

The Mega Buddy Challenge event in Pokémon GO is now starting to roll out in Asia Pacific Regions. This event runs until September 28th at 22:00 local time and features various spawns, the addition of Shiny Doduo & Dodrio in the game. If players complete the Timed Research on time, then they'll be able to get some research during Halloween to get Mega Gengar
