Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO season, the Season of Legends, starting March 1st through June 1st This event will show the debut of the Therian Formes of Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus. There will also be different Mega Evolved Pokémon appearing in raids
Different Pokémon will start appearing such as Frillish and Mantine near water, Voltorb & Glameow in the city and Hoppip in the forest
There will be various hemisphere exclusive Pokémon; Tangela, Combee, Croagunk, Ducklett, Turtwig, Chimchar, Pipup, Deerling Spring Form, Scyther, Dratini, or Cottonee will be in the Northern Hemisphere while Mankey, Yanma, Buizel, Woobat, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Autumn Form Deeling Pineco, Bagon, or Ferroseed will be in the Southern Hemisphere
Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Budew, and more will be in 2km Eggs, Drowzee, Azurill, and Munna from 5km eggs, Nincada, Alomomola, and more in 10km eggs
There will be Special Research regarding Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus, offering them candy
Players will have increased XP from 5 Star Raids
Free Remote Raid Passes will be given at points during the season

Niantic have unveiled the lineup for Pokémon GO Battle League Season 7:
Great League will run from March 1st through March 15th
Ultra League & its Premier Cup will run from March 15th through March 29th
Master League, Master League Classic and Great League will run from March 29th through April 5th
All leagues will run from April 5th through April 12th
Great League and Great League Remix will appear from April 12th through April 26th. Great League Remix bans the top 10 most used Pokémon in Great League
Ultra League will run again from April 26th through May 10th
Master League, Master League Classic and Retro Cup will run from May 10th through May 17th. Retro Cup bans use of Dark, Steel and Fairy-type Pokémon
All three cups will run from May 17th through 24th and Ranked Play will end on the 24th for the season
Kanto Cup will run from May 24th through May 31st
Rewards will be based around Elesa with players reaching Rank 10 getting avatar items and a pose inspired by her. The Pokémon rewards are also changed to match Pokémon she has
Rank 1 has a guaranteed encounter with Zebstrika, and standard encounters with Poliwhirl, Flaaffy, Pupitar, Galvantula and more
Rank 10 adds encounters with Medicham, Frillish, Stunfisk and more
Rank 15 adds Scraggy, Lampent and Rufflet encounters, with Shiny Rufflet being available Ace Rank adds Deino encouters
Legend Rank provides a guaranteed encounter with Pikachu Libre
You will receive more Candy XL when you catch Poliwhirl, Flaaffy, Pupitar, Medicham, Scraggy, Galvantula, Lampent, and Stunfisk from GO Battle League

Pokémon GO Battle League has now shifted to the Kanto Cup format, allowing only Pokémon from the Kanto Region with a maximum CP of 1,500. This will run until February 29th 2020 at 21:00 UTC

The next Poké Fair Scout has been begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This scout focuses on the Sync Pair of Lance & Dragonite and Cynthia & Kommo-o and runs until March 4th 2021
Alongside this, the Level Training Area and Cap Unlock Training Area will be dropping more rewards until March 8th 2021 at 06:00 UTC

Niantic have confirmed that Farfetch'd, Tauros, Mr. Mime and Kangaskhan are to soon return to Raid Battles in their Respective Regions. At present they didn't give any times but we'll provide full details as and when they come so be sure to keep checking back

Niantic have started to roll out a new update for Pokémon GO. This update provides a variety of bug fixes and changes including the addition of the ability to mass transfer Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. This update is currently rolling out on Android and is expected on iOS soon
