Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Roaring Moon and Mighty Iron Valiant event. This event has Roaring Moon appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Dragon Tera Type in Pokémon Scarlet and Iron Valiant appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Fairy Tera Type in Pokémon Violet. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one of each of these Pokémon from raids per save file
Alongside this, all prior Paradox Pokémon are available in 5 Star Raids in their respective games.
This event runs until October 12th 2025 at 23:59 UTC

At present it appears you cannot enter the opposite game's raids. We currently don't know if this is intentional or otherwise

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet - Gift Distribution
Another new location has been announced for the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Shiny Koraidon & Miraidon distribution.
First, in Brazil, the codes will be given at the Brasil Game Show in Sao Paolo at the Nintendo booth from October 9th through 12th. Gregorio Games is also carrying codes
In Zurich, Switzerland, the codes will be available at Softridge stores throughout the country from now until October 15th 2025. Like other countries in Europe you need to show your home menu on the Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 to receive a code
In the Netherlands, you'll be able to get codes at Intertoys stores.

The next Pokémon Center birthday distribution has been announced. From November 1st 2025 through October 31st 2026, if you go to a Pokémon Center store during the month of your birthday, you will be able to get a code to get a Fidough in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and an Audino in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. To get this, you need to take your Nintendo Switch to the store to show you have the game. If you don't, you can redeem them in Pokémon HOME. With the Pokémon HOME distribution, you will receive Fidough directly into Pokémon HOME but for Audino you will receive a Wonder Card with a serial code to redeem in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

It has also been announced that certain stores in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are to give codes to get 24 Pack Hourglasses for TCG Pocket. This campaign runs from October 24th 2025 while supplies last

It has also been announced that for the first time, if you go to a Pokémon Center during your birthday month, you will also be able to get a special Pokémon Center Birthday 2025-2026 medal in Pokémon HOME which features Fidough and Audino

A second Pokémon HOME medal has been revealed. This medal will be available at the special Pokémon Mini Concert in Suzuka, Mie. Attendees can enter a lottery to get to the concert from today until November 2nd and the concert is available on November 24th 2025. There are only 300 people able to enter each concert and all will be able to scan t he NFC area to get the medal

The latest PokéToon from the second series is now available. This short is called I Can't Take My Eyes Off Kangaskhan and features the story of a girl who wants to be a battle commentator and creates a diorama with her family Kangaskhan

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Battles have begun for the latest Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition. This competition is the Grand Challenge 2026 II competition and runs standard Regulation H rules.
Battles run from 00:00 UTC on October 3rd to 23:59 UTC on October 5th.
This competition also gives 10,000 League Points to all players who complete 3 or more battles and players enrolled in the Pokémon Championship Series can earn Championship Points for ranking.

This year's Festival of Lights event has been announced for Pokémon GO. This event will run from October 18th at 10:00 local time to October 23rd at 20:00 local time in India only
During this event, players have 2* Catch Stardust and 2* Incense Duration.
Ponyta, Chinchou, Volbeat, Litwick, Morelull and Tadbulb will spawn more on Incense
Pikachu wearing a saree and Pikachu wearing a kurta will be in 1 star Raid Battles
There will be Field Research tasks to get Pikachu
There will be a Collection Challenge to get a Premium Pass, Stardust and Experience
There will be branched Timed Research that gets stickers and encounters with Pikachu wearing a saree or kurta based on your choice.
