Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo recently invited us to have a first look play of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's update on the Nintendo Switch 2. This allowed us to get fully hands on with the game's new update and all the technical elements within. As such, we were able to write a Preview where we could talk about the game, including its near perfect 60 frames per second and other bonuses. Pokémon TCG Pocket - Drop Event

The next Pokémon TCG Pocket event is now live. This event is the latest Drop Event which features special Solo Battles with various rewards and missions to complete. It adds seven new Promo cards into the game including Ultra Necrozma ex and more. It runs until June 14th 2025
We're currently compiling all details in our Ultra Beast Drop Event event section.

Pokémon GO

The Pokémon GO Community Day in August is to be decided upon via a poll. This poll will be run this weekend on the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel and have you pick between the following Pokémon:

Frillish: Evolve Frillish to get a Jellicent that knows the Charged Attack Poltergeist.
Wimpod: Evolve Wimpod to get a Golisopod that knows the Charged Attack Rock Slide.
Rookidee: Evolve Corvisquire to get a Corviknight that knows the Charged Attack Sky Attack.
Lechonk: Evolve Lechonk to get an Oinkologne that knows the Charged Attack Disarming Voice.

Pokémon GO

Scopely have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic on July 5th & 6th will focus on Eevee. This event will 25% Egg Distance and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Last Resort to Eevee, Scald to Vaporeon, Zap Cannon to Jolteon, Superpower to Flareon, Shadow Ball to Espeon, Psychic to Umbreon, Bullet Seed to Leafeon, Water Pulse to Glaceon and Psyshock to Sylveon
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone each day
There will also be paid Special Research to get encounters with Eevee and its evolutions
There will also be Timed Research to get an Eevee with a special Background

Pokémon HOME

The Pokémon HOME update has been released. This update has brought the game on mobile to version 3.4 and has adjusted the Mystery Gift feature to include Wonder Cards. Wonder Cards are gifts obtained at an event that can provide a code for a different game. An example of this is the coming Amoonguss distribution at the Pokémon Japan Championships later this month.

A new pair of episode title have been released for coming episodes of Pokémon Mega Voltage in Japan. These episodes are due to air on June 13th & June 20th 2025

Pokémon - Universal Studios Japan

It has been confirmed that the Pokémon Unstoppable Halloween Party will run again in Universal Studios Japan this Autumn. As with the last two years, a special Halloween Party show will be held with DJ Gengar and DJ Pikachu, Mimikyu, Banette and Misdreavus. This year, it will be produced by DECO 27 with two genres; hard rock and dance. This will run from September 4th 2025 to November 3rd 2025
