Pokémon Trading Card Game
The Pokémon Company International have revealed the next English Pokémon TCG set. This is a special set based on Unova Pokémon, Black Bolt and White Flare, matching the Japanese equivalent that was revealed this past weekend. Unlike previous sets, this set is split into two with separate products for both, as well as joint products. It will release on July 18th 2025. Each expansion will include three different parallel foil sets, two of which will feature either a rainbow Poké Ball or Master Ball pattern
There are 6 Pokémon ex, 8 Ultra Rare cards, Illustration Rare for each Unova Pokémon and 1 Special Illlustration Rare Supporter card
The Elite Trainer Box will release on July 18th with Tornadus and Thundurus promos depending on the set
There will be a Binder Collection on July 18th for each set with a 9 pocket album and 5 booster packs
The Unova Poster Collection features 2 packs of each set and three promo cards for Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott, available on July 18th
8 Unova Mini Tins will be available each containing 1 pack of each set. These release July 18th 2025
There will be Tech Sticker collections for each set featuring Reuniclus and Gothitelle promo cards. This is available on August 1st
The Victini Illustration Collection set releases August 1st and contains 2 of each Booster Pack and a special Victini promo Card
Booster Bundles will release for each set containing 6 Booster Packs each. They release on August 22nd

Pokémon - User Icons
Within the Nintendo Today app, it has been revealed that the Nintendo Switch 2 is to include even more default User Icons than the Nintendo Switch and, with this, Pokémon has finally been added. With the Switch 2, there will be standard icons for all of the Starter Pokémon, as well as Pikachu, Eevee and a Poké Ball

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic on May 24th will focus on Machop. This event will have 3* Catch Stardust and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Payback to Machamp.
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

The Pokémon GO Pass: May has begun rolling out for a random selection of players. This will be available until June 3rd 2025 and features different options for each player at random including some with shorter tracks, others with Poké Coins, and some with stickers

Pokémon Masters EX - Ultimate Event
The first Pokémon Masters EX Ultimate Battle stage has received some new missions to complete. These missions have no end date and require you to use specific Sync Pairs with specific themes to complete.

The Pokémon Café ReMix event, Collect with Gholdengo, has made its fortnightly return. This event has Gimmighoul appear as icons in the stages. If you collect them, you can earn rewards including Gholdengo. It runs until May 9th at 05:59 UTC
