Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The latest Pokémon Scarlet & Violet distribution has begun. This distribution gives all players a Shiny Chien-Pao as a celebration for completion of 5,020,994 Shiny Chien-Pao raids being defeated. This is distributed via Mystery Gift -> Get via Internet.
This distribution will run until September 30th 2025
Alongside this, a set of 100 Ice Tera Shard, 100 Water Tera Shard, 100 Flying Tera Shard and 100 Dragon Tera Shards are also available to everyone through Mystery Gift.

Pokémon TCG Pocket
The latest set for Pokémon TCG Pocket has been officially revealed. This set is called Secluded Springs and will release on August 28th 2025 and is focused around Entei, Raikou and Suicune.
Alongside this, in September a Zoroark Drop Event from September 3rd through 13th, a Miltank Wonder Pick event from September 15th through 24th and a Water-type Mass Outbreak event will run from September 26th throgh October 1st. A Bonus Week mission set will also run from September 8th through 14th

Pokémon Episode: Mega Evolution
A special trio of episodes has been revealed. These episodes are part of Pokémon Episode: Mega Evolution and will air on October 10th, 17th and 24th and focus on the story of Roy going to Kalos and learning about Mega Evolution set in the time in the middle of the time skip.

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out in Asia Pacific regions. This event is the Pokémon GO Fest Max Finale event which runs from 10:00 local time 18:00 local time on both August 23rd and 24th and features a focus on Max Battles and battles against Eternamax Eternatus

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition has been announced. This competition is the Grand Challenge 2026 I competition and runs standard Regulation H rules.
Registration is open from 00:00 UTC on August 28th through September 4th at 23:59 UTC while battles run from 00:00 UTC on Septembr 5th to 23:59 UTC on Septembr 7th.
This competition also gives 10,000 League Points to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Players enrolled in the Pokémon Championship Series can earn Championship Points for ranking.

Pokémon HOME
It has been confirmed that Pokémon HOME is to undergo maintenance on Wednesday August 27th at 00:00 UTC until Wednesday August 27th at 06:00 UTC. This maintenance will coincide with the mobile version of the app being updated to 3.4.2. At present no further details have been given on what the new update will contain but we'll provide full details on Wednesday

The latest Pokémon Sleep New Moon Day event is starting to roll out. This event runs from 04:00 local time today until 03:59 local time on August 25th and features a special boost where Pokémon will not become hungry straight away and has an increased Shiny chance. It also features increased spawns for Darkrai
