The Pokémon Company and the LEGO Group have announced the first wave of LEGO Pokémon sets featuring Smart Play. These sets are smaller play sets aimed towards the younger audience which implement the Smart Brick which can read Smart Tag to make a variety of noises while playing.
There are 11 sets that have been revealed for this including the following:
Berry Bash with Bulbasaur and Bidoof
Trainer\'s Buggy Adventure with Squirtle
Charmander and Geodude\'s Cavern Clash
Jigglypuff Concert
Drone Search for Mythical Mew
Eevee and Lapras\'s Treasure Hunt
Mewtwo\'s Lab Break
Training House with Pikachu
Umbreon vs. Garchomp Championship Battle
Cubone and Gengar\'s Spooky Showdown
Charizard vs. Jolteon Ultimate Battle
Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly Battle
There will also be a Gift With Purchase of Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night

A special distribution has begun for Pokémon Champions. This distribution will get all players 500 Victory Points. It is to be redeemed with the code CHAMP10NSATNA1C. Currently no end date has been given for the distribution

Pokémon Masters EX - Story Event
As part of the currently running Rising Thunder and Flames event in Pokémon Masters EX, a new EX Master Fair Scout is now live focused on Lyra (Champion) & Entei.

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out globally. This event is the Spark's Caretaking Quest event which runs from 10:00 local time through 20:00 local time on June 8th as a tie in for Pokémon GO Fest Chicago with a focus on hatching Pokémon and a return of the Spark inspired outfit for Elekid

The Forever Forward season is now rolling out in Pokémon GO. This runs from 10:00 local time today to 10:00 local time on September 8th 2026 and features differing spawns, as well as a new GO Pass, Egg Pools, and more.
