Pokémon HOME - Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen Update
The Pokémon HOME Version 4.1.0 update is now starting to roll out on Switch and mobile. This update is allowing players in within a staggered process to ease server load.
It introduces connectivity with Pokémon FireRed & Pokémon LeafGreen, allowing for one-way transfer of Pokémon from these games into Pokémon HOME. This can be done one box at a time and Pokémon cannot be returned to the game. You can also only transfer one of each species of Special Pokémon from a game. The Pokédex in your Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen game will sync each time you send one Pokémon over
Box space has also been increased for all players with a Premium membership, allowing for a total of 300 boxes and 9,000 Pokémon to be stored
You can now transfer Pokémon in GO Safari Balls from Pokémon GO into Pokémon HOME. The Poké Ball that it will then be displayed as being in will be a Strange Ball
We have also updated the Challenges Page with all the new available challenges and updated the page to now also display the rewards for completing each challenge
We have updated the general Pokémon Listing to showcase Pokémon that can be deposited from FireRed & LeafGreen

Pokémon HOME - Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen Update
The Pokémon HOME Gift Pokémon are now live. If you deposit a Pokémon from Pokémon FireRed & Pokémon LeafGreen while your game has got a full Kanto Pokédex, you will receive a Celebi directly into your Pokémon HOME boxes through the game's Mystery Gift feature on mobile

Pokémon Champions - Battle Pass M-7
Pokémon Champions new Battle Pass is now live. This Battle Pass offers a variety of rewards including various cosmetic items featuring various poses as well as Jacinthe's bag from Pokémon Legends: Z-A, as well as the Mega Stones for Baxcalibur & Mega Absol Z as well as special gifts of both Pokémon and Cinderace.

Pokémon TCG Pocket
Pokémon TCG Pocket has announced some coming changes to the game alongside the update at the end of the month. As previously announced, Release Celebration Gold will stop being sold, and the Pikachu 001/P-B card will finish
In addition, all Step-Up battles will no longer be able to be played. Instead, a new battle system will run where the difficulty increases as you progress through stage. As such, you will not be able to redeem any rewards after the update in October 2026
Community Decks will be added that will allow for you to search for decks other players have made public and build them. Rental decks will also be reworked to allow you to use decks from cards of the latet booster packs an unlimited number of times. As such, Rental decks, Theme deck lists and Deck Missions will be removed at the end of October

The latest Pokémon Champions online competition has been announced. This is the Monthly Challenge Series October 2026 and runs standard Regulation M-B rules as a Single Battle competition
This competition also gives an Sirfetch'd and 100 Quick Coupons to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Registration runs from October 16th 01:59 UTC through October 26th 01:59 UTC and battles run from 02:00 UTC October 23rd through 01:59 UTC on October 26th
This challenge also gives a special title for placement. All participants will get the MCS 10/2026 Challenger
1st to 10th place: MCS 10/2026 Master
11th to 100th place: MCS 10/2026 Veteran
101st to 1,000th place: MCS 10/2026 Ace
1,001st to 10,000th place: MCS 10/2026 Rising Star

The latest Pokémon Champions online competition has been announced. This is the Global Challenge 2027 II and runs standard Regulation M-C rules as a Double Battle competition
This competition also gives a Basculegion to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Registration runs from October 23rd 02:00 UTC through November 2nd 01:59 UTC and battles run from 02:00 UTC October 30th through 01:59 UTC on November 2nd
This competition allows for players to earn Championship Points if in a Play! Pokémon location, or in Japan and Korea earn a place for the qualifiers for the national competitions

Pokémon Champions - Season M-7
Pokémon Champions' Ranked Battle Season M-7 is now live. Season M-7 will run until November 4th at 01:59 UTC and runs the same Regulation M-B rules that have been running since early September
This season allows for use of the currently available Pokémon and Mega Evolved Pokémon
The rewards for participation in Season M-6 are also now available

Pokémon Masters EX - Story Event
The latest event has begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This event is the secomd of the Treasures of Ruin events, and focuses on Lysandre meeting with Chi-Yu. It runs until November 1st 2026
