Pokémon Pokopia
During today's Nintendo Direct, some new Pokémon Pokopia content was officially revealed. There will be a new area called Bubbly Basin available as paid DLC in August 2026. The Expansion Pass will be available today and offers three updates: August 2026, Late 2026 and Early 2027
Bubbly Basin includes a new town to explore with more Pokémon and the ability to use the move Dive. The move Dive will be available through a free update but the new area requires a purchase

The Expansion Pass is live to purchase on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop. It costs Ł29.99/$34.99

Pokémon GO
The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the Flying Taxi event and is due to run June 23rd at 10:00 to June 29th at 20:00 local time and adds Squawkabilly into the game
Yellow Plumage Squawkabilly and White Plumage Squawkabilly will appear globally
Green Plumage Squawkabilly will appear in the Eastern Hemisphere
Blue Plumage Squawkabilly will appear in the Western Hemisphere
Hoothoot, Rookiee and Squawkabilly will be in the wild
Spearow, Hoothoot, Rookidee, Squakabilly and Wattrell will be in Field Research
Swablu, Starly and Vullaby will be in 1 Star Raids
Hisuian Braviary, Corvisquire and Bombirdier will be in 3 Star Raids
There will be a GO Pass for the event that gives encounters with Pidgeotto, Hoothoot, Vullaby and Rookidee, a Super Rocket Radar and Mysterious Components. Paid passes give more encounters and an additional Super Rocket Radar. Tier 1 on the Pass gets 2* Catch Candy and Tier 2 gives more Stardust from GO Rocket Grunts

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out globally. This event is the Candela's Quest for Victory event which runs from 10:00 local time through 20:00 local time on June 15th as a tie in for Pokémon GO Fest Copenhagen with a focus on Raids and a return of the Candela inspired outfit for Ponyta

Pokémon Café ReMix has announced the next event. This event is Poltchageist's Tea Etiquette. It is a Full Bellied Adventure event which will run from 06:00 UTC on June 11th 2026 and focuses on Poltchageist. We'll provide full details of this event as the event goes live so be sure to check back.

PokéPark Kanto
A new special event is happening at PokéPark Kanto. This is Pikachu and Eevee's Summer Carnival and will run from July 3rd 2026 and features a special parade throughout the Sedge Town area at PokéPark Kanto. This will feature bubbles, mist and lighting effects to help keep cool during the hotter days
From 17:30 to 17:45 each day, Pikachu and Eevee's Bubble Carnival will take place near Primarina Fountain
From 19:30 to 19:45 each day, Pikachu and Eevee's Night Carnival will take place near Gym Plaza
