The next Pokémon GO Community Day on June 20th 2026 has been confirmed to focus on Frigibax. This event will have 3* Catch Stardust, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Glaive Rush to Baxcalibur. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research.
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

A special poll has been confirmed for Pokémon GO. On May 30th & 31st, on the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel, a poll will be held to decide the August 2026 Pokémon GO Community Day focus. The choices are between Nickit, Yamper, Fidough and Tadbulb. The winner will then be the focus for the Community Day on August 15th 2026

The next Pokémon GO Season has been fully detailed following its initial reveal yesterday. This season, Forever Forward, runs from June 2nd through September 8th and will introduced Mega Skarmory, Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y into the game
Dynamax Electabuzz, Dynamax Magikarp and Dynamax Feebas will also be introduced throughout the season
In this season, Sundays will be Scenic Sundays which have more Pokémon appear in Routes and from Incense. You will also encounter Matteo up to 3 times a day
Mondays will no longer be Fast-Track Monday but will remain Max Monday
On Tuesday, you will be able to enter up to 5 Showcases rather than 3

A new set of Pokémon HOME medals haves been announced. These are the medals for the Pokémon Local Acts Product Fair which runs in Tokyo from May 29th through June 1st. These medals feature a variety of mascots that are used as ambassadors for various areas in Japan

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out globally. This event is the Blanche's Quest for Knowledge event which runs from 10:00 local time through 20:00 local time on June 1st as a tie in for Pokémon GO Fest Tokyo with a focus on catching Pokémon and a return of the Blanche inspired outfit for Lapras

The following moves will also be adjusted for Trainer Battles
Drill Run will be decreased to 70 power with a lower Energy cost
Flash Cannon's Energy cost will decrease
Hurricane's Energy cost will decrease
Dragon Ascent's power will be reduced to 110 and its Energy Cost will decrease
Earth Power's Energy cost will decrease
Gust will generate more Energy
Charm's power will decrease to 12
Wrap's power will increase to 70
Energy Ball's power will decrease to 80 with lower Energy cost
Silver Wind's power will increase to 75
Earthquake's power will increase to 120
