During the Pokémon World Championships Closing Ceremony, a new movie has been announced. This movie is called Pokémon Wild Card and will release next year and is an animated movie

During the PokémonXP & World Championships Closing Ceremony, it was confirmed that the 2027 Pokémon World Championships will take place in Singapore

During the Pokémon World Championships Closing Ceremony, it was confirmed Mega Lucario Z, Mega Absol Z and more are coming soon to Pokémon Champions. With this, Mega Heatran was also teased. Rillaboom and Baxcalibur were also confirmed. The Z-Megas will come on September 9th

Mega Lucario Z has a new Ability called Aura Guard which halves the damage from moves that make physical contact

During the Pokémon World Championships Closing Ceremony, it was confirmed that Z Mega Evolutions will be coming to the Pokémon TCG soon alongside new Mega Art Rares
A new card style, Pokémon ex☆ will also be released

Pokémon GO
The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the Mega Squad event and is due to run September 8th at 10:00 to September 14th at 20:00 local time and adds Maschiff & Mabosstiff into the game
This event also adds Shiny Flamigo into the game
During this event, Mega Beedrill will be able to reach Super Mega Level and learn Fell Stinger+ and Mega Houndoom can learn Dark Pulse+. They will be in Mega Raids during the event
There will be a GO Pass in the event which gives a chance of getting Mega Energy when catching some Pokémon at Tier 1 and 2* Hatch Stardust at Tier 2, with 50% Incubator distance if you purchase the Deluxe pass
From September 8th through 11th, Pidgey & Rookidee will be in the wild with Emolga, Fletchling, Rookidee and Flamigo in Eggs while from September 11th through 14th, Houndour and Carvanha will be in the wild & Sandile, Pancham, Masciff and Flamigo in eggs

During the Pokémon World Championships Closing Ceremony, it was confirmed that Mega Evolved Pokémon that have reached their Super Mega Level will be able to access a new Charged Move when they are Mega Evolved. This will be functional in both Trainer Battles and Raid Battles
Alongside this, Armored Mewtwo has been confirmed to return to the game soon
Players in San Francisco will also experience GO Fest Finale

The next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic on September 12th will focus on Gible. This event will 3* Catch Experience, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
There will also be a Mega Collection Challenge to get Garchomp Mega Energy
It will also give out the move Earth Power to Garchomp.
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

The latest major Pokémon Sleep event, the Mini Snapshot Surprise Missions event is rolling out. This event runs until 03:59 local time on September 7th 03:59 local time. This event features additional chances to get Mew and Psychic-type Pokémon ahead of the Mewtwo event later in September

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out globally. This event is the Mega Ascension Event event which runs from 10:00 local time through 23:59 local time on September 4th. It features a daily Mega Evolution Raid Battes in the run up to Pokémon GO Fest Mega Finale on Saturday & Sunday

The latest Pokémon TCG Pocket event is now live. This event, the Team Rocket's Ambition Emblem Event, is the latest Emblem Event which features missions based upon battling other players over the Internet. It provides special Emblems based on your performance. It runs until September 10th 2026

Pokémon Café ReMix has announced the next delivery focus. Starting from tomorrow, September 1st 2026, a double focus will be live which focuses on Zorua (Starry Sky), Mimikyu (Halloween) and Espirr (Halloween), giving another chance to get them in the game. These Pokémon will be useful in the Halloween with Mismagius event
