Blackthorn City is a city located within the north-east of Johto. This city is located within cliffs and has a small lake that leads to the Dragon's Den and houses various noteworthy characters.

Move Deleter
The Move Deleter is found in a building on the southern part of the city. The Move Deleter will remove moves freely, with no cost.

Move Relearner
The Move Relearner is found in the same building as the Move Deleter. The Move Relearner will teach your Pokémon moves in its level-up that it could have learned at lower levels. He charges you one Heart Scale per move.

Move Tutors
In the same house as the Move Deleter and Relearner are two move tutors who will teach moves to your Pokémon if they're of a high happniess. One will teach Draco Meteor to your Dragon-type Pokémon while the other will teach Frenzy Plant/Blast Burn/Hydro Cannon to various starter Pokémon.

Snooze Ribbon
On Saturdays, you can receive the Snooze Ribbon from Santos after you have previously obtained the Soft Sand from him.

Cameron's Photos
On Tuesdays & Sundays, Cameron the Cameraman will appear outside one of the houses and will take photos of you and your Pokémon team.

Gym
The Blackthorn City Gym is the final gym of the Johto region. This gym has go through a path on platforms along some lava until you reach the Gym Leader; Clair. Upon defeating her, she will refuse to give you the badge until you get to the Dragon's Den
