Lumiose City is the largest city within the Kalos region. It has been separated into a variety of areas, each containing a variety of amenities to uncover. It starts off with just South Boulevard open to players, but opens up after power is restored. Each of the areas have got various alleyways where trainers can be found. You can take taxis for easy access to the area, as well as paying to ride a Gogoat. If you don't have enough money for the taxi, you can defeat the driver to pay for your journey.
South Boulevard has a variety of places to explore. First, it has several cafés: Café Introversion, Café Soleil and Shutterbug Café. It also houses the Restaurant Le Nah which contains a variety of battles. In Coiffure Clips, you can customise your character's hairstyle. It also has the Pokémon Lab where Sycamore works, as well as the PR Video Studio. It has connections to Route 4 and 5
North Boulevard is the northern half of the city. It contains various areas including the Galette Stand, Lumiose Museum and the train station. It also houses the Hotel, Hotel Richissime and the various cafés: Café Triste, Café Ultimo, Café Action!" and Café Bataille.
Located in Northern Boulevard is an area where you can test out your various Pokémon teams through seven consecutive battles. You then get ranked based on your performance. Click here for more details
Vernal Avenue is an avenue opposite Vernal Avenue. It houses the Boutique, Herbosite and stone Emporium. It also has the cafés: Café Woof and Café Classe. It also has the Friseur Furfrou which allows for you to customise your Furfrou
Estival Avenue is the south-west avenuetand contains the Loto-ID Center, as well as the Lumiose Press, where Alexa and her journalist co-workers work in order to get details on Lumiose City. It also contains Café Rouleau and Café Gallant.
Autumnal Avenue is in the north-west avenue, opposite the Galette Stand, and contains the Restaurant Le Yeah, where many battles can take place,. It contains the Café Pokémon-Amie as well as the Poké Ball Boutique and the Juice Shoppe.
Hibernal Avenue is the north-east avenue and doesn't contain too much. It houses the Café Kizuna as well as the Restaurant Le Wow, which contains many strong Pokémon trainers to battle
Vert Plaza is on the south-east and is marked by the green monument. It contains the café, Café Cylone
Bleu Plaza is on the south-west and is marked by the blue monument.
Magenta Plaza is on the west and is marked by the magenta monument. It houses a Pokémon Center and the Lysandre Café
Rouge Plaza is on the north and is marked by the red monument. It contains the restaurant Sushi High Roller which can give you incredibly tough battles for 500,000. It's also the home of an empty store that becomes the Looker Bureau
Juane Plaza is on the north-east and is marked by the yellow monument. It contains the home of your friend, Trevor
In the middle of the city is Centrico Plaza. This round area surrounds the Prism Tower where the Gym is located. Inside the Prism Tower, you will find Bonnie who will give you a ribbon if your Pokémon has max affection
In Prism Tower is the Gym. As you climb the tower, you will be posed various questions by Bonnie and asked to answer them by battling a trainer. As you get to the top, you will battle Electric-type leader, Clemont.
