Special Moves
 | Inhale |
King Dedede's neutral special has him create a small vacuum. If any oppoenent falls into it, it will cause King Dedede to injest them, allowing you to move around before spitting it out for decent damage.

 | Gordo Toss |
King Dedede's side special has changed somewhat from Super Smash Bros. Brawl in that he only throws out one character, rather than one of a selection. This move has you throw the character Gordo out at your opponents. Gordo is a spiked ball so does massive damage if it hits any opponent. You need to wait for Gordo to disappear before using this move again.

 | Super Dedede Jump |
King Dedede's up special acts as a recovery. Dedede will jump up high, hitting anyone in its path and then will slam back down to the ground. You have no control of movement while doing this. You can cancel mid-jump, though, in order to make it back to the stage.

 | Jet Hammer |
King Dedede's down special remains unchanged from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. With this move, King Dedede charges his hammer which has a powerful jet. The longer you charge it, the more damage it will do. There is a catch, though, as if you leave it for too long, it will explode and damage you. You can move slowly while charging the move, as well.

King Dedede has received a brand new Final Smash in this game. This time, he starts off by creating a massive vaccuum. If this connects, he will suck in an opponent to be in front of him, start hitting with a hammer three times, before hitting a giant bomb into the opponent. This will then knock the opponent flying.
