When detailing special upgrades for Nintendo Switch games on Nintendo Switch 2, it was revealed that Pokémon Legends Z-A was to receive a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade which includes higher frame rate and higher resolution than the Nintendo Switch counterpart. This ugprade can be purchased on the Nintendo eShop if you have the Nintendo Switch version of the game, or on a physical bundle

During the Direct, it was revealed that the Nintendo Switch Online membership would receive the Gamecube as a console added to the service. Alongside this, it was revealed that the Pokémon games, Pokémon Colosseum & Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness will be released later on after launch
