In Pokémon Legends Z-A you get asked to join Team MZ with your rival and several other characters
Emma will ask for your help in investigation and Mable is the professor asking you to help fill the Pokédex
Some Mega Evolved Pokémon will go rogue and require big battles to defeat
Alpha Pokémon make their return
You can get Mega Stones through a variety of means including the Stone Emporium or by exchanging Mega Shards which can be found around Lumiose City in clusters that need breaking.
Early purchasers of Pokémon Legends Z-A will get a Ralts holding a Gardevoirite

Pokémon Friends, a new mobile game for iOS and Android has been launched on the Apple App Store> This puzzle game has over 1,200 puzzles to complete and you can obtain yarn to make Pokémon. In Think Town, you can help solve issues by completing puzzles and there are daily puzzles to complete.

This game has paid DLC. The Basic Pack is Ł9.99 and gives 20 additional puzzles, 6 types of yarn , 50 additional plush, two additional setups, three new wallpapers and more quests
There is a Puzzle On pack for Ł14.99 which gives 10 more puzzles, 6 more types of yarn, forty more plush, four new wallpapers, and more quests
The Puzzle Pack 2 contains 10 more puzzles, 6 types of yawn, forty more plush and 4 more wallpapers

During the Pokémon Presents, the special animation featuring Aardman was officially announced. This is to be called Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu and is a series set in Galar focusing on the exploits of Sirfetch'd & Pichu.

The next Tera Raid Battle event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This event is a special event where you face off against the Shiny Treasures of Ruin. These are all 5 Star Raids but cannot be captured
From July 23rd through August 3rd, you will face off against a Shiny Wo-Chien with the Grass Tera Type
From August 4th through August 17th, you will face off against a Shiny Chien Pao with the Ice Tera Type
From August 18th through August 31st, you will face off against Shiny Ting-Lu with the Ground Tera Type
From September 1st through September 14th, you will face off against Shiny Chi-Yu with the Fire Tera Type
If each of these Pokémon are defeated 1 million times in each period before it ends, the respective Pokémon will be available though Mystery Gift at the following times
Shiny Wo-Chien: Friday, August 8, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC
Shiny Chien-Pao: Friday, August 22, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC

The next Mass Outbreak events have been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. These are fortnightly events that will have a boosted Shiny chance
From July 23rd through August 3rd, Capsakid will spawn in Paldea, Petilil in Kitakami and Oddish in the Blueberry Academy
From August 4th through August 17th, Frigibax will spawn in Paldea, Snorunt in Kitakami and Cubchoo in the Blueberry Academy
From August 18th through August 31st, Paldean Wooper will spawn in Paldea, Mudbray in Kitakami and Drilbur in the Blueberry Academy
From September 1st through September 14th, Charcadet will spawn in Paldea, Vulpix in Kitakami and Numel in the Blueberry Academy

A new distribution has also begun for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Depending on your game, you can enter a code to get a special Tracksuit item. This will be live indefinitely. Pokémon Scarlet players can get it with the code: STRACKSU1T and Pokémon Violet players get it with the code VTRACKSU1T

Pokémon Mega Evolution
During the Pokémon Presents, the first Special Illustration Rare cards for the Pokémon TCG set, Mega Evolution, were offically revealed. These include cards for Mega Venusaur, Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Gardevoir and Mega Lucario.

In The Theme Parks Department
PokéPark Kanto
During the Pokémon Presents, details were released for the coming PokéPark Kanto theme park in Japan. This Theme Park is due to open in early 2026, with tickets available from late 2025. In the park itself there are two different areas, the first is a 500m long Pokémon Forest filled with grassy trails, tunnels and more featuring Pokémon all over the area.
In the Sedge Town area, there will be two attractions, a Pokémon Center, a shop, a Gym and more for attendees to battle within
In The Pokémon Championship Series Department
Pokémon World Championships
Some new details were released for the Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim California next month. During the finals on Sunday, the event will be held in the Arena adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center
In addition to that, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet players who attend will receive a code to redeem for a Toedscool to celebrate the World Championships
Finally, the annual Paradise Resort promo card has been officially revealed

The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the Dark Skies event which runs from August 18th through 23rd
Dynamax Squirtle, Caterpie, Gastly, Krabby, Shuckle, Sableye, Beldum, Latias, Latios, Trubbish, Sobble and Hatenna will be in Max Battles on August 18th
Dynamax Charmander, Omanyte, Kabuto, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Pidove, Drilbur, Cryogonal, Rookidee, Toxtricity and Scorbunny will be in Max Battles on August 19th - 20th
Dynamax Bulbasaur, Machop, Chansey, Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Wailmer, Darumaka, Passimian, Grookey, Skwovet, Wooloo and Falinks will be in Max Battles on August 21st - 22nd
Zacian and Zamazenta will be in raids from August 18th - 20th with Zacian then on August 21st and Zamazenta on August 22nd
Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Skwovet and Wooloo will spawn in the wild
This event offers Max Particle Collection limit increases, more Power Spots and daily refreshes. There will also be Timed Research

The Pokémon GO Fest Max Finale event has been detailed.
Eternatus will be available once during the event. There will be a Pass which includes an encounter with Eternatus and Dynamax Pokémon
Gigantamax Pokémon will rotate hourly. On August 23rd, Lapras, Snorlax, Gengar, Inteleon, Venusaur , Machamp & Toxtricity will spawn. On August 24th , Gigantamax Rillaboom, Charizard, Butterfree, Kingler, Blastoise ,Cinderace and Toxtricity will spawn
Zacian & Zamazenta's Crowned forms will be in 5 star raids, Falinks with its costume in 3 Star raids and Pikachu in its 3 costumes in 1 Star Raids
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Skwovet, Wooloo, Caterpie, Gastly, Chansey, Shuckle, Sableye, Beldum, Darumaka, Trubbish and Falinks will spawn in the wild
There will be Timed Research focused on powering up Pokémon and defeating Eternamax Eternatus
A code is available to get new Timed Research in advance. The code is GOFESTMAX

During the Pokémon Presents, it was confirmed that the next set of episodes for Pokémon Concierge are to release on September 4th 2025 and features the story of more people coming to the resort, including an old friend of Haru

Pokémon Sleep
Pokémon Sleep has revealed the next location and events for the game during the Pokémon Presents
In September, a special event "Raikou, Entei, and Suicune Research" will be live. This event will give boosted chances of getting Raikou, Entei and Suicune again.
Then, from November 2025, a new area, Amber Canyon will be released. This area will include Pokémon such as Trapinch and Flygon

Pokémon UNITE
Pokémon UNITE has revealed a myriad of updates to the game. First, starting today is the new Electrode Volleyball mode. This mode has you hit Electrode to score and prevvent it from falling onto your side of the court.
Second, Latias has been officially announced to be available from August 8th 2025
Pawmot has also been teased as coming soon as a playable character
Finally, with the code UNITE0722, you will be able to get a 3-Day Limited License for Latios, as well as a Platinum Boost Emblem for both Latios and Latias

Today marks the Pokémon Presents. This is a 24 minute presentation showcasing the latest news for Pokémon. This will air from 13:00 UTC / 09:00 EDT / 06:00 PDT / 15:00 CEST / 22:00 JST with a DJ Pikachu pre-show an hour earlier. We'll post full details of all reveals live as they happen, and host the stream here, so be sure to keep checking back

The Pokémon GO Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales event is rolling out globally. This event is the second Ultra Unlock event which focuses on Powerhouse Pokémon and Steel-types, adding Honedge and Shiny Rookidee. It runs until July 27th 2025 at 20:00 local time.

Pokémon Café ReMix has begun a special Daily Stamp campaign. This campaign gives all players the outfit of Jigglypuff (Summer Fun) and runs until August 21st. If all days are completed, you will also get a Sea Adventure Entrance 1 Decoration and a Delivery Ticket for Lapras (Sea Captain)
