Pokémon Pokopia Coverage Day 1
The update for Pokémon Pokopia containing the Bubbly Basin Expansion is now live globally, it is time for us to begin our coverage
Due to the nature of the game, full compilation may take a little while but we are compiling full information in our section and taking community input in the Serebii Discord server.
If you want to remain unspoiled, do not visit the Pokopia section until you are at a point that you do not mind spoilers. Don't worry as blatant spoilers will NOT be on the home page.

Pokémon Pokopia - Nintendo Switch Online Icons
The first wave of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass icons for Nintendo Switch Online Subscribers is now live. Each icon and part is available to exchange for Platinum Coins earned. This wave includes icons featuring Ditto using Dive and Popplio

Pokémon GO
The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the PokémonXP & 2026 Pokémon World Championships event and is due to run August 25th at 10:00 to August 30th at 20:00 local time and adds costume Pikachu into the game into the game
During the event, you can play 15 sets of battles and Pokémon in GO Battle League rewards will have different variety of stats
From August 25th through August 28th, Pikachu in a Cosmog spacesuit and Impidimp will be in 1 Star Raids
From August 28th through August 30th, Pikachu is a Cosmog spacesuit, World Championships 2026 Pikachu and Honedge will be in 1 Star raids
There will be Field Research to get encounters with event Pokémon
From August 25th through 28th, Ralts, Numel, Spheal, Drifloon, Elgyem, Sobble, Deino and Pawmi will be in the wild
From August 28th through August 30th, Alolan Sandshrew, Mankey, Lickitung, Totodile, Wooper, Foongus, Froakie, Litten, Togetic and Beldum will be in the wild
There will be a new avatar item featuring the Worlds & XP 2026 Backpack
There will be Worlds and Pokémon XP themed stickers
The arena in GO Battle League will return to the Worlds arena that was introduced last year
There will be a GO Pass to get encounters with Pokémon. Upgrade to the Deluxe Pack to get the Backpack, an encounter with Zapdos, more encounters and items. Tier 1 offers 2* Catch starudst and Tier 2 offers 3000 more experience from Raids

Details have been given for the Pokémon World Championships and Pokémon XP distibutions for people watching the streams at home
For Pokémon Champions you will get 50 Quick Coupons on Friday August 28th, 5 Teammate Tickets on August 29th and 5 Training Tickets on August 30th. You will get an Incineroar on all days
Pokémon TCG Live will give 6 Pitch Black Booster Packs, a Mega Zeraora ex Playset and a special crate featuring apparel for your player character in Pokémon TCG Live
Pokémon TCG Pocket will get a code for 24 Pack Hourglasses for watching 30 minutes of the TCG stream
Pokémon GO will have Bonus Timed Research featuring Lickitung, Totodile and Paldean Wooper, a Timed Research based on the 2025 World Champion's team if you watch for 60 minutes and a passcode will be given to get a Worlds 2026 tee. If you watch a costreamer, you will get a Timed research featuring Worlds Pikachu. If you tune in to the GO panel for 30 minutes on August 29th, you will get a Timed Research with the XP Pikachu
Pokémon UNITE will give a sticker for the Worlds logo for 15 minutes, 2026 World Championships license art for 30 mintues
and a Unite License Selection Box for 45 minutes
In addition to the main streams, there will also be several panels shared including the PokémoN Tales panel and the Pokémon TCG panel

Pokémon Champions - Battle Pass M-5
Pokémon Champions new Battle Pass is now live. This Battle Pass offers a variety of rewards including various cosmetic items featuring Corbeau from Pokémon Legends: Z-A as well as the Mega Stones for Excadrill, Scrafty and Chandelure as well as special gifts of all three.

Pokémon Champions
The latest Pokémon Champions online competition has been announced. This is the Monthly Challenge Series August 2026 and runs standard Regulation M-B rules as a Single Battle competition
This competition also gives an Alolan Raichu and 100 Quick Coupons to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Registration runs from August 14th 01:59 UTC through August 24th 01:59 UTC and battls run from 02:00 UTC August 21st through 01:59 UTC on August 24th
This challenge also gives a special title for placement. All participants will get the MCS 08/2026 Challenger
1st to 10th place: MCS 08/2026 Master
11th to 100th place: MCS 08/2026 Veteran
101st to 1,000th place: MCS 08/2026 Ace
1,001st to 10,000th place: MCS 08/2026 Rising Star

Pokémon Champions' Ranked Battle Season M-5 is now live. Season M-5 will run until September 9th at 01:59 UTC and runs the same Regulation M-B rules that have been running since mid-August
This season allows for use of the currently available Pokémon and Mega Evolved Pokémon
The rewards for participation in Season M-4 are also now available

The "Facing the Future with Fight " Neo Champion Event has begun a run in Pokémon Masters EX. This event features the store of Hilbery and Hilda being inducted into the Neo Champions of Pasio

The latest bingo panel is now live for Pokémon Café ReMix's currently running event. This panel gives a number of tasks which, if completed, give you Pancham's Stylish Sunflower outfit. These need to be completed before the event ends on August 11th 2026
