17:36: I have had multiple requests to add Contest data to the Pokédex. However, in order to avoid clutter, this couldn't really be done. That said, I have created a new subsection for the XYORAS Pokédex which includes Contest data. It can be accessed by clicking the Contest Ribbon on every Pokédex page

Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced in the third generation. A mythical Pokémon said to have swelled the seas with rain and tidal waves. It battled with Groudon . .shtml">It is said to have widened the seas by causing downpours. It had been asleep in a marine trench. Through Primal Reversion and with nature's full power, it will take back its true form. It can summon storms that cause the sea levels to rise.Kyogre is said to be the personification of the sea itself. Legends tell of its many clashes against Groudon, as each sought to gain the power of nature. So here it is, the fifty-seventh entry, Kyogre.

For those of you in Australia & New Zealand, it has been announced that various stores are to begin sharing the Eon Ticket through StreetPass. These will be given from 12:00 on Monday 1st December with more dates to come. The stores are:

Pokémon Art Academy

As part of the announcement of a new contest, it has been announced that, in Japan, from December 13th 2014 to February 1st 2015, Pokémon Art Academy will be offering a downloadable template for Cosplay Pikachu. The contest will require you to draw the Cosplay Pikachu and is set to run in countries other than Japan, too, and runs by uploading your artwork to a special Miiverse community. There are two elements to this contest, a Cosplay Pikachu one, and a "Favourite Pokémon" one, where you can draw whatever Pokémon you wish. The competition is to be judged by illustrators of the TCG and there's a chance that your artwork may become a real card. We'll bring more as it comes

For those of you in the Netherlands, it has been announced that various GameMania Stores across the country, specifically Groningen, Rotterdam, Maastricht, Breda, Amsterdam and Utrecht, will be distributing the Eon Ticket to players on December 6th 2014. From there, players can then help distribute the Eon Ticket through StreetPass. This follows on from similar methods in the US and UK. We'll bring more as it comes

For those of you in Europe & Australia, the Diancie distribution event is due to end on Friday. This event gives you a special Diancie, which cannot be found in normal gameplay. This event is a Serial Code event and requires going to a store in order to receive the code, which is then redeemed in Mystery Gift. If you are in the United Kingdom, you can get it at GAME. If you're in Germany, Italy, Norway, Finland, Sweden or Denmark, you can get it at Gamestop. In the Netherlands, you can get it at Bart Smit & Intertoys. In France it's available at FNac & Micromania stores. In Spain it's available at GAME, Toys 'R' Us.

Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced in the third generation. Said to have expanded the lands by evaporating water with raging heat. It battled titanically with Kyogre It had been asleep in underground magma ever since it fiercely fought Kyogre long ago. Groudon is said to be the personification of the land itself. Legends tell of its many clashes against Kyogre, as each sought to gain the power of nature. Through Primal Reversion and with nature's full power, it will take back its true form. It can cause magma to erupt and expand the landmass of the world. We also cover its Primal Reversion. So here it is, the fifty-sixth entry, Groudon.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - 3DS Themes

Following their reveal on Monday and release in Japan last night, the two Pokémon related themes are now available on the European theme shop. These themes are focused on Primal Groudon & Kyogre and a Sleeping Pikachu and have various animations and Pokémon related music and sound effects. They cost Ł1.79/€1.99 each.

With many parts of the world getting their copies tomorrow, it would be remiss of us to hold off until launch when so many of you hunger for information. As such, our usual discoveries shall begin. As usual, I'll be posting the main focal points here, while more in-depth details go on the discovery thread on the forums (including some details I won't post here). If you want to remain unspoiled, do not click the spoiler tag, nor visit the ORAS section until you have your game. Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - 3DS Themes

The official site has announced that Japan is to receive 3 3DS themes related to Pokémon. These themes are all 200¥ to buy and will be available from tomorrow. Two of the themes match the ones that Europe is getting tomorrow, but a third theme is introduced. This theme is based upon the Pokémon, Slowpoke and features various images of it as you scroll through. North American details still unclear
The Onemuri Pikachu theme has the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Pokémon Center music playing. The Slowpoke theme has got the recent hit Slowpoke piece of music as its background and the Primal Groudon/Kyogre theme has the Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Opening Theme music

This template is of Groudon and is being released to celebrate the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire this weekend. The official website has confirmed that the Pokémon World Championships in 2015 are to be held in Boston in the US, specifically the Hynes Convention Center. The full details aren't currently known, but it has been confirmed that there will be no last-chance qualifier for the TCG. Video game details are still unclear

A brand new patch has been released for Pokémon Bank. This patch is required to go online and thus use the software and includes the brand new data and compatibility for Friday's release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, but no official patch notes have been added as yet. This patch is 210 blocks to download and is currently available on the Global eShop. You can download it through the eShop or through the Pokémon Bank software itself

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - 3DS Themes

It has been announced that two special 3DS themes are to hit the European 3DS Theme Shop this week. The first theme is called ONEMURI Pikachu and features a sleeping Pikachu as you scroll through the screens and the second 3DS theme is based on Primal Groudon & Primal Kyogre. They cost €1.99 / Ł1.79 each. We don't have any images of these themes yet but they'll be posted the second we get them.

Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced in the fourth generation. Sometimes the magnetism emitted by Magnezone is too strong, making them attract each other so they cannot move. It evolved from exposure to a special magnetic field. Three units generate magnetism. A group tried to use scientific means to make Magnezone evolve, but their efforts ended in failure. So here it is, the fifty-fifth entry, Magnezone.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Japanese Eon Ticket Event

From today in Japan, the latest issue of CoroCoro has got a special Serial Code to allow for the obtaining of the Eon Ticket. However, the official site has posted that the Eon Ticket won't be redeemable on the Japanese games until November 26th 2014 and will be able to be redeemed until May 31st 2015. This means that from November 21st to November 25th, the game will not recognise the code. As a reminder, the UK is getting it through the StreetPass UK Relay from November 29th and the US has it given at Nintendo World, Play! Pokémon events and StreetPass communities through StreetPass. We'll bring more on this as it comes

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Japanese Charizard Event

A new event has been announced. To commemorate the new Pokémon Center in Tokyo, two Pokémon are set to be distributed. From December 12th to January 16th, at the Pokémon Center in Tokyo, you can download a shiny Charizard holding the Charizardite Y and a shiny Pikachu. The distribution is given based on the hour of the day, with them alternating. Details of the event Pokémon are not yet known but the Event Database has been updated with these events

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Linoone Event

Another new event as announced for Japan. If you go to Jump Festa 2015 on December 20th, you can receive several gifts. First is a special Linoone distribution. This Linoone is Level 50 with the moves Extreme Speed, Helping Hand, Baby-Doll Eyes and Protect while holding a Focus Sash. In addition to this, if you participate in a special battle competition, you can win a PP Up or a PP Max for your game. Finally, they will be distribution QR Codes for the Super-Secret Bases of three special guests: Ayana Tsubaki, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Aoi Yuki, Emi Nitta, Aoi Shota & Ban Megumi. The Event Database has been updated with these events

The Pokémon Company has uploaded a new trailer which showcases all of the new information which came last night. First, the girl known as Hagana is called Zinnia in the localisation.

It also confirms you get given the Diancite in a Pokémon Center when you trade over Diancie
15:12: Details of the Delta Episode are also kown. It is discovered that an asteroid is on course with the planet and it has a relationship to an event 3000 years ago. In addition to that, Team Magma/Aqua are starting to steal Key Stones from trainers

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This first images showcases many of the legends available throughout the game including revealing that Deoxys is available in the game at some point of a part of the game called Episode Delta. For those of you in North America, the Diancie distribution event is due to end at the end of this week on Sunday. This event gives you a special Diancie, which cannot be found in normal gameplay and can be traded over to Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire to get its Mega Stone. This event is a Serial Code event and requires going to a store in order to receive the code, which is then redeemed in Mystery Gift. If you are in the United States, you can get this code in Gamestop. If you are in Canada, you can get it from participating EB Games stores. If you are in Mexico, it can be received from GamePlanet.

The third wave of amiibo has been announced in Japan, coming on January 22nd and within this range, it was confirmed that Lucario is getting an amiibo. The official Japanese site has announced that, while you can get the Eon Ticket for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire through an event, if you do receive the Eon Ticket, you have the capability of sharing it through StreetPass, akin to how you could share it by mixing records in the original. You will never lose your Eon Ticket, however. Full details of this are not yet known but we'll post the second we get more
Edit @ 09:05: The Pokémon Company has announced the Eon Ticket Relay for the UK. This will begin with Junichi Masuda giving the Eon Ticket out at the launch event on Saturday November 29th. From there, 15 winners will be sent to various GAME stores to spread the Eon Ticket through StreetPass. More details are to be released on November 13th

For those of you in Europe & Australia, the Diancie distribution event has begun. This event runs until November 28th 2014 and gives you a special Diancie, which cannot be found in normal gameplay. This event is a Serial Code event and requires going to a store in order to receive the code, which is then redeemed in Mystery Gift. If you are in the United Kingdom, you can get it at GAME. If you're in Germany, Italy, Norway, Finland, Sweden or Denmark, you can get it at Gamestop. In the Netherlands, you can get it at Bart Smit & Intertoys. In France it's available at FNac & Micromania stores. In Spain it's available at GAME, Toys 'R' Us.

During today's Nintendo Direct, some new information was revealed. This information pertains to a special distribution for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire based on Super Smash Bros in Japan. This gives you a Greninja with the moves that it has in Super Smash Bros.: Water Shuriken, Hydro Pump, Shadow Sneak and Substitute. This will be distributed if you register both Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and either Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire on Club Nintendo between November 21st 2014 and January 20th 2015. The Serial Code for it will be given from December 9th 2014 to January 29th 2014. We'll bring more as it comes.

For those of you with Pokémon Art Academy in North America, the secind downloadable template has begun. This template is for the ghost Pokémon Mega Gengar and shows its shiny form. This template is accessed in the Free Paint mode of the game and ran from launch. It has also been available in Europe and Japan over the past month. The end date is not currently known

This template is for the ghost Pokémon, Gourgeist & Mismagius together in one template, and is to tie in with halloween. Ahead of the movie, Diancie & The Cocoon of Destruction's release in North America, the special short episode that aired in Japan, now known as Diancie Princess of the Diamond Domain, is viewable on the official website. This short is a prequel to the movie and features Diancie and her Carbink butlers as they head out on their journey.

For those of you in Europe & Australia, the Shiny Mega Gengar distribution event is due to end on Wednesday. This event gives you a special shiny Gengar which knows the special move Sludge Wave and holds a Gengarite. This event is a Serial Code event and requires going to a store in order to receive the code, which is then redeemed in Mystery Gift. If you are in the United Kingdom, you can get this code in GAME. If you are in Australia/New Zealand, you can get it from participating EB Games, JB Hi-Fi, Target and Big W stores. If you are in Denmark, Sweden, Norway or Finland, it can be received from Gamestop though some stores

Following its successful first concerts in August in Washington and September in Philadephia, it has been announced a new date has been added for the Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions Tour. Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced in the second generation. It is said that it usually hides in underwater caves. It can create whirlpools by yawning. It stores energy by sleeping at underwater depths at which no other life-forms can survive. It lives in caves on the seafloor and creates giant whirlpools every time it moves. It sleeps deep on the ocean floor to build its energy. It is said to cause tornadoes as it wakes. So here it is, the fifty-third entry, Kingdra.

Pokémon X & Y - Shiny Jirachi Event

A new event has been revealed for Japan. When you purchase the special Pokémon with You charity wristbands which have been released today in Pokémon Centers in Japan, you will also get a free serial code card. This serial code will give you access to a Shiny Jirachi. It is not known if this shiny Jirachi matches the one given at the Tanabata Festival in Tohoku earlier this year. The serial code can be redeemed from December 1st 2014 to May 28th 2015 on Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
