Edit @ 17:25: Early Consolidation. My Save File has corrupted and is accepting no more new saves so I'm looking into fixing that

No Guarantees but we're going to try and get the evolutions tomorrow, but no guarantees. I'll also, if I get time, write the new anime bios for Hikari, Shinji and Nanakamondo as well as new stuff for Ash and James

Edit @ 17:55: Consolidation of todays work done. Tomorrow I'll continue on and show more of the Pokémon, I MAY have to limit the ones shown here due to bandwidth reasons and our excessive traffic. However this does not include all the New Pokémon that were revealed yesterday or even revealed beforehand (e.g. Elekible) and the majority of these are seemingly the Pokémon related to old Pokémon. This implies that you either obtain the Pokémon that are related to these elsewhere in the game or there are bundles of options once you've transferred them over

    • When Eggs hatch, they no longer hatch at Level 5, but at Level 1!
    • All Baby Pokémon are found in the wild

However, with special thanks to loadingNOW for allowing us to use the sprites and special thanks to constant coding buddy Arty2 for the types, we now have a List of EVERY BRAND NEW POKÉMON. Without the names for most of them, we will go through them as we have today using pictures from my DS and Coronis' DS and bring further details in. In The Games Department

    2 New Pokémon?

Well a new Magazine scan has revealed 1 brand new Pokémon, and one previously seen Pokémon...however these are NOT 100% Confirmed as of yet:

    • The Brand New Pokémon is called Mimiroru, the Rabbit Pokémon of the Normal Type. It has 2 Abilities, Run Away and a new one called Strike
    • The other is the spiral cat Pokémon that was revealed with Pinpuku at the start of the month. Called Nyaruma, it is of the Normal type and has the abilities Own Tempo and Limber
    • The Recent Demoes in Japan have actually revealed some information not previously known, the Pokémon's numbers in the Shinou Dex. Many of whichwere speculated accurately indicating a leak, but here they are anyway; Subomi, Roselia & Rozureido have Numbers of #025, #026 & #027 respectively, Cherimu has a number of #059, Bonsly & Sudowoodo have Numbers of #092 & #093 respectively, Mime Jr. & Mr. Mime have Numbers of #094 & #095 respectively, Perappu's Shinou Number is #102, Lucario's Shinou Number is #113 and Dorapion's Number is #128. Remember, although these have been revealed by various Japanese sources, they are not completely confirmed yet so it is possible they may change or are inaccurate

Well, it is truely the calm before the storm, the day of reckoning is almost upon us...the day where all the information will start coming out and you shall see it all right here.
However in the meantime, there is a distinct lack of news and Uni has kept me a little busy. I'ld also like to apologise for the downtime earlier today on both the main site and the forums. The data center that both of our servers are in happened to have a major fault that caused both of the servers to die. I should update tomorrow however with the usual PotW and hopefully an episode guide

    Diamond & Pearl

Right, Thanks to CoroCoro we have a boat load of information and as usual I'll begin with the Pokémon we haven't heard of before:

    • The First New Pokémon is the one that has been sihlouetted for a while. It is called Korinku. It is an Electric Type Pokémon with a Classification of Flash and the abilities Intimidate and a new one called Belligerence, which raises Korinku's attack when it's opponent is of the same gender. It can learn Spark
      New Pokémon
    • Next is a Pokémon related to a previous Pokémon, Subomi is the pre-evolved form of Roselia. It's Classification is a Flowerbud Pokémon, Grass/Poison type and Natural Cure & Poison Point as it's abilities like it's later forms. It can learn Mega Drain
      New Pokémon
    • The next we knew the name of recently; Bippa. This is a Round Mouse Pokémon of the Normal type. It has two new abilities; Natural, which makes Bippa always attack Pokémon with higher status, & Simplicity, which raises the effect of Bippa's hold items or attack after effects. It can learn Tackle
      New Pokémon
    • The next is another with a relation to and Old Pokémon, and one we actually had a picture of a week ago, Pinpuku, the pre-evolved form of Chansey. It has the classification of Pretend Pokémon. A Normal typed Pokémon, it has Natural Cure & Serene Grace as its abilities. It can learn Charm
      New Pokémon
    • Next Up is the Dinosaur looking Pokémon, Zugaidosu. It can learn Take Down and a new attack called Double Headbutt which works like Double-Edge but is of the Rock type. Zugaidosu is revived from a Fossil
      New Pokémon
    • Following that is another quadraped, Tatetopusu. Being the Shield Pokémon, it is of the Rock/Steel type Combination and has the abilitiy Sturdy. It can learn AncientPower and a new attack called Metal Burst. Metal Burst works like Counter. Tatetopusu is revived from a Fossil
      New Pokémon
    • Next up is the pinecone looking Pokémon, Minomucchi. This is the Bagworm Pokémon of the Bug type. It has the Shed Skin ability. It can learn Protect

    • Last for the completely new Pokémon is Masukippa. This is the FlyCatcher Pokémon of the Grass type. It's ability is Levitate. It can learn Vine Whip
      New Pokémon
    • Onto the Pokémon we know of; Korobooshi is the GrassHopper Pokémon of the Bug type. It's ability is Shed Skin
    • Mukkuru is the Gray Starling Pokémon of the Normal/Flying type. It's ability is Keen Eye
    • Diaruga's type is Steel/Dragon while Parukia's is Water/Dragon.
    • The newly revealed Pokémon: Zugaidosu and Tatetoposu are Pokémon that are revived from Fossils
    • The first gym leader is not Zack like the previous report said but is called Hyouta and gives out the Coal Badge. He resides in Kurogane City.
    • The leader of Team Galaxy is called Mars
    • On the DS to DS connectivity, you can go to a Union Room for trades, battles and chat. You also can go to the Underground Shinou with friends witht his, partake in Contests against your friends and do the Battle Tower Multi-Battle function as introduced in Emerald
    • On the WiFi mode, there is another Union Room and you can use the Global Trade Center, the new Battle Tower function, and the usual Battling & Trading
    • There are two new Pokéball's known; Health Ball and Dark Ball. The Heal Ball heals a Pokémon's health after it has been caught. The Dark Ball allows for easier capture in Dark areas such as in Caves or at Night Time

    • The game starts by you being a witness to a rare legendary Pokémon in the lake by Futaba Town. You find Professor Nanakamondo's Briefcase there and return it to him. He allows you to take one of the Pokémon as a reward
I have also added many pictures to the Pre-Release Picture page. Click below to view

    New DP News?

The Japanese Blog, blue skY, which brought the news of the 3 starter Pokémon before they were revealed has brought a bit more news to the fold regarding Diamond & Pearl:

    • The Pokémon you encounter at the start of the game are Mukkuru, Subomi (does that confirm the theory of it being the sihlouetted Pokémon?), Buizeru, Perappu and three new Pokémon of names; Garinan,Samusamu & Maasura
    • The first Gym leader, Zack, is a ground type Gym and he has Two Diglett at Level 12 and a Level 15 Maasura
    • There is a new attack called Giga Horn

As usual this is not 100% confirmed but it is more than likely true

    Two New Pokémon

This brings us to our next bit of news. The title reveals a New Pokémon's name, Subomi. It is unknown what the Pokémon is, but its possible that it is the Shadow Pokémon that was with Mukkuru but there is no way to tell yet. Watch this space for more news

Also, Nintendo have revealed with the Download Stations Demos coming in Japan on the 24th that you will see a new Pokémon in it, a screenshot shows it's name as the trainer is sending out but no picture of it, it is called Bippa. Further details of it are not yet known.

Sorry that it took so long to do it but we've got the domain back. We've added a bit of extra protection to it so this shouldn't happen again. I do however apologise for the content that was placed during the theft and that none of it was in any relation to myself or the website. I know it was out of my control but I hope it does not colour your judgement of us and our site.

I want to thank you all for all of your support throughout this. It's really good to know that the majority of you do care about the site. Thank you.

On a Pokémon note, there are 7 sihlouettes flying about today, including Koroboshi and the 2 Pokémon we revealed last week. These are more than likely fake as one of the sihlouettes closely resembles a piece of Fan Art posted on an image board a few days ago. We'll keep you aprised

    Pokémon Transfer Clarified

Well the official site today has revealed further details into the transfer of Pokémon between games. Here are the details:

    • The 6 a day transferral is specific to each game. For example if you have Ruby & Sapphire. You can transfer 6 from each each day. But you cannot transfer 6 more until you have the 6 captured
    • The Park Ball has a 100% Capture Rate
    • The aspect of the Park Ball requires you to have to find the Pokémon within the park. The rarer your Pokémon, the harder it will be to find.
    • Capture is confirmed to be one way. If you transfer them to Diamond & Pearl, you cannot transfer them back and they are gone from your GBA game.

    Two New Pokémon Revealed?

Well, with thanks to slowkingsley for the heads up, a new bit of Merchandise has been put on some Japanese Online Stores. One of note is a 2007 Daily Calendar. This calendar includes Pikachu, Diaruga, Parukia, the three starters (all in poses we have yet to see) and these two Pokémon. At the moment we do not have 100% confirmation on this but it did however come from a shop selling this piece of merchandise. I will keep you aprised so keep checking back:

    Diaruga & Parukia Types

Some other merchandise by Bandai has possibly revealed one of Diaruga and one of Parukia's types. It is unknown if these will stick as merchandise has been dodgy with the typings (some merchandise still say Tamanta is pure water and Perappu is pure Flying). The merchandise groups Diaruga in with Steel type Pokémon and Parukia in with Water Type Pokémon. We'll keep you aprised on this
