Pokémon Colosseum

Pokémon Colosseum was a game release for the Nintendo Gamecube in 2003. This game was developed by Genius Sonority and acts in two different ways. First, it has a Battle Mode treating it as a spiritual successor to the Pokémon Stadium Series. However, for the first time, this game features a full fledged Story Mode, making it the first home console Pokémon game with a story.

This story has you play as a trainer called Wes as he breaks into the Snagem Hideout and escapes with the Snagem Device. This device allows for him to see and capture Shadow Pokémon, a mysterious new phenomenon found in the Orre Region. This phenomenon has Pokémon start to rage and use Shadow Moves. Your task is to purify these Pokémon. There are around 48 Shadow Pokémon to obtain in this game.

This game focused around many Pokémon that were not found in Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire, allowing you to capture them and then trade them to your GameBoy Advance games.

The game also features a Battle Mode which allows for you to battle against your friends using your GameBoy Advance teams, or to use your teams to battle in strong Colosseums against some strong competitive teams.
