Pokémon Champions
Pokémon Champions Version 1.2 is now rolling out on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. As such, our coverage and deep dive are going to begin.

Edit: Some balance patches have been implemented.
Politoed can't learn Pound and Archaludon can't learn Mirror Coat or Metal Burst. Slash can now be used. Wish and Strength Sap have both had PP reduced from 12 to 8
In addition to that, there's a new battle backdrop in Ranked Battles. You can also access a Battle Log checking the recent moves that have happpened in Battle and you can see a Summary when switching in to see if a Pokémon is at an advantage or disadvantage with other Pokémon on the opponent's team with data pulled from prior Ranked data

Pokémon Champions Junior is also now available in Germany and Brazil. The game runs the same as the standard version but says the features are unavailable when you try to select microtransaction related elements

Pokémon Trading Card Game
The Pokémon Company have revealed the rest of the standard cards from the next Japanese Pokémon TCG set, 30th Celebration. This set is due for release globally next week on September 16th 2026
We have begun adding all cards to our 30th Celebration section with help from ToineLay for translation

Pokémon Champions - Regulation M-C
Pokémon Champions' Regulation M-C and Ranked Battle Season M-6 is now live. Season M-6 will run until October at 01:59 UTC and Regulation M-C runs until December 2nd 2026 at 01:59 UTC
This season allows for use of the currently available Pokémon and Mega Evolved Pokémon. We have added all details to our Regulation M-C section

Pokémon Sleep
Pokémon Sleep has had an update which has contained the new data for the event next week. This includes the addition of Mewtwo in preparation of the Mewtwo event next week. In addition to this, we have updated all our listings to detail the Mewtwo DNA drop data for every sleep style as well as details for the Very Big Mago Berry

The latest Pokémon Champions online competition has been announced. This is the Monthly Challenge Series September 2026 and runs standard Regulation M-B rules as a Single Battle competition
This competition also gives an Indeedee (female) and 100 Quick Coupons to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Registration runs from September 11th 01:59 UTC through September 21st 01:59 UTC and battles run from 02:00 UTC September 18yj through 01:59 UTC on September 21st
This challenge also gives a special title for placement. All participants will get the MCS 09/2026 Challenger
1st to 10th place: MCS 09/2026 Master
11th to 100th place: MCS 09/2026 Veteran
101st to 1,000th place: MCS 09/2026 Ace
1,001st to 10,000th place: MCS 09/2026 Rising Star

The latest Pokémon Champions online competition has been announced. This is the Global Challenge 2027 I and runs standard Regulation M-C rules as a Double Battle competition
This competition also gives a Tyranitar and 100 Quick Coupons to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Registration runs from September 18th 02:00 UTC through September 28th 01:59 UTC and battles run from 02:00 UTC September 25th through 01:59 UTC on September 28th
This competition allows for players to earn Championship Points if in a Play! Pokémon location, or in Japan and Korea earn a place for the qualifiers for the national competitions

Pokémon Champions - Battle Pass M-3
Pokémon Champions new Battle Pass is now live. This Battle Pass offers a variety of rewards including the outfit of from Pokémon Legends: Z-A as well as the Mega Stones for Eelektross, Metagross and Starmie as well as special gifts of all three.

A new Pokémon HOME medal has been officially revealed. This medal is to be available at the Pikachu's Autumn Outing event in South Korea from September 18th. This event is a large one by Pokémon Korea comprising of various elements including a Pokémon GO event
