Updated Abilities
As with all new Pokémon generations, Pokémon Champions rebalances moves, stats and in the case of Pokémon Champions, Abilities. Click their names to go to the Ability page for it.

| Run Away | Enables the Pokémon to ignore any effects that would usually prevent it from switching out of battle and being replaced by another party Pokémon. (Champions) | Now functions in battle |
| Unseen Fist | The Pokémon can deal damage with moves that make physical contact, even if the target is protected. This damage is reduced to 25% | Reduces the damage inflitced by the Pokémon to 25% of the damage that would normally be inflicted if target wasn't protected |
